Actually the Templars were real, they were "officially" disbanded in France, in the... 1600's I think, and a LOT of stuff in this game are based off of historical events and theories

What r u people talking about, if you haven't noticed from all of the other games Desmond is obviously a main character. And no, his story isn't going to end in AC3. He is the vital point in the whole series

Wish they'd made an assassins creed in London ore something =/ and actually took even more time to develop it. to make it as good as possible. and..just..didn't let you find stuff all around the world so you can finally buy the stuff you need. maybe also that they kept the outfit a bit like in AC II. no special graplinghook thing. ore superspecial bombs.

also just make the movements be quick but also very realistic. like not being able to run nonstop...anyone with me?

1 Ubisoft London was involved in the making of ACR.

2a Bombs, historically accurate to the time frame,

2b outfit, if that is a complaint I cant help with, lets face it you can change the color and a little of the design at tread shops

2c the grapple hook makes travel faster and climbing easier which personally I'm all for

And lastly unlimited run, Constantinople is a massive setting... just saying I'd be pissed if i wasn't able to run.

personally i think tey will ave desmond as the main character. He knows everything he has to do. Where to go. How to do it. He has the training he has EVERYTHING. there is no reason for him to go back into the animus. Also the devs said that the next AC will be "game changing" developing a new combat and free running and all those other features to fit the modern world would def be game changing would it not?

wrong, they are going to make Desmond the main character. It's going to be a new form of gameplay and they are going to make it open world in the real time. This game was like a conclusion to the animus and the original descendants.

@alienufoweird Just FYI this IS the fourth AC, the next will be AC3 and will be the fifth in the series, featuring a completely new historical character. In addition, it is being released November of 2012, and Ubisoft has stated that this entire series has been timed exactly to have its last entry release exactly before the "end of the world" in real life, which is set in both reality and fiction in December of 2012. So as we near AC3, the timelines of the game and of reality coincide.

I almost started crying at the end. Where Ezio said "No book,no wisdom, just you" "Rest in peace" The dramatic thing is Ezio fought all his life for this artifact, and when he found it, he finally understood it wasn't made out for him.

Awesome ending! I'm not entirely sure how the first civilization guy ended up talking to Desmond directly. Perhaps there was something about the disk Ezio picked up from Altair that somehow plays a message that can only be picked up by the Animus when it's used to view that particular sync nexus. It's all very mysterious, but I suppose it doesn't make any less sense than the finale of AC2. Great work, Ubisoft!

When that cinematic with all the destruction started, I pretty much lost my shit. I feel like there's such a big picture that I'm either too stupid to grasp or they're just going to end up outlining in detail in the next game. I'm interested to know why they're focusing on the Roman names of the deities and yet interlacing Biblical themes as well (Apple of Eden, then Adam and Eve in that other cinematic with the naked man and woman running.) I almost want to play through it all again. So good!
