Only thing is, it was refurbished, but its spotless. No scracthes or any other problems. Love it

why did sony take out the ps2 campatiblity and 2 usb ports for this one btw why did sony discontinued the old ps3's if they have only been making them for about 2 years and then release a ps3 slim? i mean for what its not the same as the old one i mean microsoft has had been coming out with the xbobx 360 for about 4-5 years now and you dont see them coming out with a xbox 360 slim y coundt sony just keep making the old ps3's they are way better in my opnion then the ps3 slim!

@opinionatedjason i agree with you the only thing i like about the slim is that it consumes less power and weights less but other than that i prefer the fat ps3 over the slim ps3 lucky for me i was still able to get a ps3 80gb brand new at my local game store :) and so far im loving it

because its really expensive to make backwards compatibility and sony was loosing money because to make a ps3 when they were only 40 60 and 80gb models it cost like 500 and sony was selling the ps3 for only 400 and they were loosing 100 dlls so thats the reason and with the slim they are making same mistake because now it cost less to make the slim so they should have put backwards compatibility
