@blusouls they're both japanese, i own em both, beck has the original bands and voice actors from japan singing the songs from the show. and keith has other bands in japan singing, infact one of em is mentioned in the anime, huskingbee i think it was

@TheAlyward in the original japanese version of the show, where koyuki first steps up at greatful sound, he sing "I got a feeling" by the beatles, listen to it. the japanese actor did good i think. beats the hell out of william hung lol

The japanese versions of all becks songs just don't sound as good as their english counterparts. easily one of the greatest dubs I've heard.

@HeliosVamp13 dude, i have this song. more particularly i pulled the audio tracks off the dvd by finangling the cables from a dvr recording system, i rigged it to only pickup the audio signals and record it, then i had to fiddle with the sound levels on my computer and walla. instant english version, you're lookin at a few hours of work but well worth it

@DEATH111183 thats a really good idea but if you have an iphone it comes with the voice memo app so you can make a recording of a song there then it will appear in a playlist in your itunes library from there you can right click on the song, go to get info and edit the name and album and stuff from there

@stencetheboss true, but i don't have the fundage to spend on an iphone. itunes and all that mess just to get a crisp soundtrack. when all it takes is a few hours bsing on my computer and i get the same equivilent. least my method doesn't envolve much spending of money and i still get what i wanted

English actually is: Trying to keep hanging on, not trying to keep flaming on. That's the Japanese one although it sounds like blaming, his accent makes it sound like it. Try listening to his voice.

i love greg he's got a great voice...but why'd they switch the lyrics around to make it seem like koyuki was the writer. the english version is more like a song about a girlfriend, but ryusuke wrote it about maho... and the japanese lyrics make more sense to that...its just weird to me...sry for the really long comment ^_^

Actually the lyrics to this song changed very little from the orginal to the English version. All they did was clean up the syntax a little bit so it would be easier to sing by a native English speaker.

yea but the little changes do effect the mood a little bit, eng: love leapes in to motion trying to keep flaming on, jap:Large lips in the motion trying to keep blaming on; even this little chang effects the meaning...not saying i dont like both meanings ^_^ im just sayin both versions seem to be very easy to sing for an english speaker, although i cover the jap version, so even if it was to make it sound better with gregs voice it just seems funny. sry again for the extremely long comment ^_^

I haven't watched the english dub yet, but I was wondering something. How do they play off the parts where Koyuki can't understand the people speaking english? That had a role in how the plot worked so I was wondering how they pulled it off.

they completely omited that fact and changed it usually to make some funny comment like when eddie says he had a good voice and he asked what he said it went from 'what did he say' to 'did you hear that?!?' seemingly small changes but they do change the story a bit.
