I examined the birth certificate very thoroughly. I'm not an expert, but I seem to know more than all of the alleged "experts" I heard saying that it was an obvious forgery. Since I do a lot of conversions between jpeg, pdf, etc., I know about all the funny crap that adobe programmes do when you convert between formats. The quality of the document is too crappy to prove it's legit, but I found nothing to make me suspect it's a forgery.

And "natural born" is well defined by the supreme court and congress. "Citizenship Clause of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and §301(a) of the Immigration and "Nationality Act (INA) (8 U.S.C. §1401(a)), that a person who is born in the United States, subject to its jurisdiction, is a citizen of the United States regardless of the race, ethnicity, or alienage of the parents." Any child born in the US is by definition natural-born, even if the parents are not citiziens.

Did you even listen? What Hawaii routinely releases is called a "Certification of Live Birth" it is under Hawaii Revised Code "verification in lieu of certified copy" or in generic terms a certified abstract of information from the original birth record.

The term "birth certificate", when NOT defined in code, is what the dictionary says it is.

Hawaiian Revised Code requires the state to issue "certified copies" upon request. IMO, the state is NOT following its own law.

Federal Code does define "birth certificate" and the Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth is NOT a birth certificate under Federal Code either.

Do you really think that when the President tells us he was born in Hawaii, then he provides us with a Certification of Live Birth (prima facie evidence in any court) and then provides us with a certified copy of his Certificate of Live Birth (the "birth certificate" you asked for), that the burden is on others to provide even more evidence?

Birther delegations could be given guided tours of the records department in Hawaii and shown the original records and given opportunities to interview surviving hospital staff and the newspaper people who posted the adds and friends and nieghbors, after which they would all get together and discuss all the problems with the evidence and come up with wild theories about how it was all staged for them.

I have the cleaned and sharpened color copy and the not cleaned and sharpened B&W copy. Yup, the clean and sharpen function degraded the quality of the document by removing some stray marks including some written in marks. It also left some white background around some text that would not have been white on a true copy.

I would prefer that the copy had been posted as a full-size JPEG and some areas, such as raised embossing had been demonstrated.

Amen! The certified copy is none the less interesting. For one example, many birthers claimed that Obama's birth record was the result of a "delayed filing" or that there might be an "alteration". Evidence is not found on the Certifiate of Live Birth to support either of these bogus claims.

Birth Madness!

I'm a Denninger fan! I made the same observations he did without the advantage of his superior hardware and software. Here is what I did differently ... I imagined that there might actually be explainations instead of assuming a conspiracy.

So far, every time a birther comes out with something that sounds spot on, it has always turned out to be poo-poo. So, the birthers have spent ALL of their credibility.

I've been out on the Internet looking and I feel so vindicated! Everything that Deninger mentions is explained by various people who are smarter than Denninger (and ME).

I am NOT going to try to debunk the video!!! IF you are an open-minded and skeptical person with the willingness to dig and read a bit, you will find the debunks.
