  • What cable do you you use for d-link?

Does it come with the dns1200?

  • do these work on a mac?

  • is a possible to connect two denon 1200 in one external hard driver?

if is possible how can I connect it?

  • @zetney214 Unfortunately you cannot

  • @zetney214 hi m8, if you link the two decks together via the d-link, and put the hard drive or usb flash stick in the rear of one of the decks, then both decks can share the one hard drive. if you watch the video again he says that in there around the 3.30 mark. you could also link the two decks together then usb out to laptop run something like vdj and again run from one hard drive

  • @zetney214 Of course you can do it, with the d-link crossover cable, you can use the same keyboard external hard disk in booth units...

  • quick question - - im trying to use a flash drive. but after i plug it in --> hit source the text "Create 0.0%" keeps popin up everytime i try to select something with the parameters. i let it run for 30minutes but nothings changed ... whats am i doing wrong ?

  • What about i-pod connectivity?

  • @dadruben iPods work. They must be PC formatted.

  • Hey guys im planning to get your Denon Combo package I was wondering what 'free' headphones do you guys give when purchasing that combo

  • @AcerOner Thanks for watching our video! The free headphones match the system. They are the DENON DN-HP500, not some cheap off brand giveaways!

  • sh** man I die for 2 of this...

  • a little question, what cable do you use to connect the 1200 to your laptop?

    regards

  • @superbuny007 It's a USB Cable

  • can you sample beats with the denon dn-s 1200??like connect this to a mpc.....???

  • hey ..i want to ask you something !! denon s1200 or pioneer cdj-400? plz answer

  • save the $1000 and go denon

  • can u connect your ipod ?

  • THANK YOU

  • do you know how to link two dns1200 sharing only one memory stick?

  • Not possible . The HS5500 is the only one that can share files off a single drive

  • does any1 know if I plug the player as midi for a third party program such as virtual dj, do I need to use a soundcardo or can I just directly plug in the player and the computer???

  • There is a plugin available to registered users of VDJ to use the DN-S1200. It also is a single channel stereo sound card as well.

  • The DN-S1200 can be used for a few programs to control. It has midi-interface. Very nice!

  • wat midi software can you use with these players?

any response would be great thnx

  • virtually any but the main players like Serato, Virtual DJ and The latest Traktor Pro has the mapping all ready installed.

  • This is probably the best quality/price ratio cd player.

  • how much is this?

  • already cuz i want something easy to carry and portable and a good mixing device

  • is this a good set up for doing a club and radio show cause i want something were i wont have to carry cds and have less to carry around and i have the 1000s

  • when you use the usb, does it also work with the new iphone 3g?

  • I think you are ill-informed about the D-Link.

You cannot share all your info from d-link. The only thing you can share is the keyboard function and memo points.

  • i have a big quess....!!!!! i have dat denon in ma house nd da scratching sound different nd wen after i finish scrathing da track stop 4 like 1 second??? how can i change this????

  • could someone help me out? Can you share a USB Drive between the two decks? I.E mix two songs, both from one USB drive? or do i need two usb drives? thanks

  • You should actually watch the video before wasting time asking a question already answered. Watch from about 3:00 on

  • true

  • wow,dose scratchin sound better then dn-s1000s...holla

  • if i had two of these and a mixer and i wanted to use it with Virtual DJ. Would I need a separate sound card to send the sound to my PA system? or can i use the mixer as the balanced out?

  • Heres a question.

what if your playing a track from the usb drive & decide to switch to cd mode for another song....then after a few minutes of playing a song from cd mode, u return back to the usb.

will your search go back to the previous song u started with on usb mode?

what if you had a grip of songs on your flash drive & u were looking for song 145 out of 250on ur drive? do you have to restart ur search from song 1 to get to 145 after switching modes??

  • why no connect the iphone????????

  • Question if I may. Is the platter of the DN-S1200 plastic or is it all metal with a plastic disc on top for handling purposes. Also, is the platter have a sturdy feel? Thanks!

  • The platter is very sturdy. It is plastic, but it didnt feel like it was in danger of breaking.

  • It is not possible to share files/tracks bewteen players, its also not possible to connect devices trough a usb-hub.

    I have a S1200 myself.

  • Hello oostcoast, thanks for your message. We are looking into the features you discussed in your comment. On the Denon DJ site it does list a feature on this unit where you can share info between two players. This requires a special ethernet crossover cable plugged into the D-Link slot. I am also checking on the USB hub comment. Thanks.

  • I also thought that it was possible to share files between players, but the manual says nothing about such a feature.

Maybe there planning on a firmware update what will enable that feature, would be nice though

  • the product page on the official site specifically mentions being able to share date between players using D-Link. we will be testing to see if this functionality currently exists. thanks again for your comment.

  • i have a set of these decks and you can share info between the players wiv the d-link,but hes right about the usb hub

  • I understand that only the hs5500 can share music between two players through D-link. With s1200 you share your keyboard only. The s1200 doesn't support usb hub, only hs5500 and hd2500 support hubs, up to 4 endpoints. My question, does the s1200 support mp3 cd's? If not, is it possible to add this feature with a firmware update?

  • Yes, it will play MP3s off of CD.

  • how much yall sell em for dont wanna pay nuthin over 300

  • Than buy gemini or the 1000 assuming for each

  • Wow. that is quiet.....
