It doesn't hurt afterwards at all. You are very sensitive to light for awhile. When I was back in the office 3 days after surgery it was SO BRIGHT! I had to turn down the shades and keep my sun glasses on and staring at the computer screen irritated my eyes. After about a week I didn't need to wear my sun glasses inside anymore. I did need to keep using eye drops for at least a month because my eyes were very dry. But now it's 20/20 no dryness and no glasses - woo hoo!

He had eye surgery? Does this mean no more glasses? :'( I mean I'm sure he hates them, but they're cute. ;P
