lol i am a mass noob at chiptune, so do you use each piece of equipment for different part or line of the song? beccause i only i wouldnt think you would need anyhting else
You CAN do a song with a single device as well. Still I prefer some "instruments" for some parts based on their sound-features and characteristics. The songs I play live usually only make use of 2 or (max) 3 instruments wich is hard enough to coordinate for me. sometimes "less is more" so the basic setup is gameboy, vc and my ukulele. If you are further interested feel free to pm me.
thanks again for the .ogg. it's one of the best songs i've ever heard. please continue making music seriously and try to keep me updated with your releases.
You might want to subscribe to my videos as I'm planning to upload lots of new stuff (full songs) with some graphical content as well. Thanks for liking what I do. Trying my best.
cool! thats a pretty comfortable set-up! The green gameboy pocket & the mini amp are my favorite. This is maybe a $1000 budget studio and well worth the music. Would you say the Commodore is the most expensive or the cables/effects?
P.S: keep clicking the mouse on 0:32 and it looks like a dramantic view.
The mixer ~20€, pedals 20€ each, amp 15€, VC20 20€ gameboy 10€, nanoloop 60€, yeah that's it.. with all the stuff not on the video its about 300€ I guess. If you are interested feel free to contact me for detail prices or more info. regards, mpain
