80's movies are the best!! even '89 (Shocker).

the movie drags on a little at times but it's still good.

it really kicks ass once it gets to the line..."This Barcalounger's gonna kick your ass, boy." and the following scene. I think The Ring ripped off the in/out of the tv part, along with several other movies.

Peter Berg has come a long way since Shocker, and the killer, Mitch Pileggi, was Skinner on X-Files.

what I like about shocker, is that they left the sex out of it and made a straight up horror movie. I like sex, but If I want to see it I'll check it out online. You go to the movies nowadays, fuck I'm getting old, and it's all sex in like the first half hour of horror films... it takes forever to get to the bloodbath. I'm not advocating no sex. just keep it seperated like in the old days. if you're making a horror movie, put horror in it and nothing else.
