put it like this, I rode a towboat smaller than this and it had 5000 hp....a lot of your Lower Miss. towboats are 10,500 and up...some at 12,000 hp

ehm.... not really a beautifull piece on engineering :-) Looks like a floating skyscraper. And isn't this a pushing boat instead of a tug? A tug tows things, and this only pushes....
