  • In the name of the Father and the Son and Eric Clapton

  • What A Songggggggggggggggg..........:)

  • It's awesome how Clapton can play off key and still sound great!

  • W Clapton

  • fantastic !!!!

  • @FuzzyRat13 I agree. does it really matter though? He has the right to have an ugly guitar.

  • @Autobotsrollout3: yes, he does have the right; ugly: maybe, but it was auctioned off for the crossroads center

  • kickass solo, yeah - but a very special kickass fucking awesome extreme solo :)

  • Wah wah sole on the studio recording is dynamic!

  • The audience KNEW exactly what the song was with the two-three opening notes.

  • for blues i like PAGE more, or bb king, or SRV or Hendrix

  • ok ok ok ok videos tov toda

  • its about the final sound not what you can play..

  • oh and when he plays with BB King and Buddy Guy too. And others...

  • Can you please upload full track plz :)`???

  • I really can't find it in me to believe a guitar solo can get any better than this.

  • i really cant find whats so mind blowing about this?

  • @brandon9966 The soul in his playing. He's one the guys where you can hear the soul coming out of his fingers.

  • its really simple though... and slow...

  • its simple and slow..... with a little wah wah

  • @brandon9966 i'm guessing you think the solo to comfortably numb is also "simple and slow"?

  • @tourdeforce17 actualy i prefer it to this , thanks though for mentioning one of my favorite solos

  • Don't tell me you're one of those shredder guys where everything has to be fast. I hope you're not, but it doesn't get any better than the guys you see along with EC. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Beck, Hendrix, Jimmy Page, etc. They're the best there was and is.

  • @RockRampage74 I am not, but this solo does nothing to my ears. That is my oppinion. And I respect all the guitarists u mentioned . but clapton doesn't do anything for me.

  • @brandon9966 this solo it´s not one of the best of course when you have shows so often you just can´t be briliant all the time BUT.... there´s just one truth (Clapton has the magic) maybe no all the time but he has the touch........ just take a look at the songs and solos from the 24 night album..... if it doesn´t thrill you............ man you just don´t feel and suffer like a human being (I tell you from the respect)

  • Slash is good in his own way, Eric in his, i guess everyone is good in their own little ways.

  • MindFulOne, you are absolutly right - There is NO ONE who could copy THIS -- especially not THIS really orgasmic unique solo on this gig - ON THAT DAY EC CRUSHED NYC WITH HIS STRAT - FOR ME THE BEST "WHITE ROOM"-VERSION EVER...

  • Ican listin to this all night

  • Da pauraaaaaaaaaaa....

  • That's an awesome strat in the picture.

  • i think i had an orgasm when i heard the first note of that solo....

  • LMAO!!! Eric is da man!! I saw him in Dallas with Mark Knopfler. INCREDIBLE!! No orgasm though.

  • @danypieman so did the rest of us

  • @danypieman Ah man, if you think this is good...you're gonna love having sex!!

  • I was at this concert, the equivalent of 10th row (it was standing). Just the 1st note of this solo was like "WOW". He gives you everything. There have been many copies of eric but I can spot them every time. You just can't repeat this.

  • i agree

  • I think was a free concert in central park. Too bad they dont show the footage cuz Sheryl Crow was playing bass and she really looked hot

  • On the right side of the screen, the 7th video down is the actual video. I think she's just playing rhythm, not bass.

  • I've watched the Central Park show on YouTube a couple of months before the evil WMG censored most of Clapton's vids.

I agree with cortese123, Sheryl played a sunburst Les Paul Standard on this Cream-era track. She also strummed a Telecaster when Keith Richards joined her onstage for a Stones' song.

The stage shot shows Eric blasting out a scorching guitar riff with his Fender Crashcaster 3 during a gig circa 2003-2004.

  • When was this?

  • This was in 1998..

  • Tks

  • @ljmusic92 ya sheryl crow was playing shows in 68... dumbass

  • @Montanametalhead Hahaha, read man. I said 98.. Dumbass

  • @mlc520120 yesterday

  • CLAPTON IS GOD!!

  • DAMN RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • damn straight!

  • awesome solo but different then the one i heard

  • I never heard this before. This is greatness. I like hte solo better from WOF, though.

  • he is awesome but imo not the best.

  • ...and that's where Gary Moore comes into play!

and i can still say that as a die hard clapton fan

  • @Baltrick your opinion will change.... give it time

  • Clapton is God!

  • kickass solo, as usual.
