  • Nadya was very skinny in those Kirov days in the 1980s. Not many, other than Mezentseva, Yefremova and Yevteyeva were skinnier. Unfortunately, all the past skinny ballerinas would be considered fat in today's Mariinsky Ballet. Irina Chistyakova looked great in the center. I did not recognize Terekhova, but Zhanna could not be missed. Wherever Zhanna was, Ninel was always near. A great team.
