  • Rumor has it that Barbie had Darcy murdered.

  • Omg fang bang

  • "Blast off your own rocket"

Oh my immature mind...i couldnt help but snigger at that..

  • Gay sometin dress lol

  • OMG, I've been searching for an upload that includes the '60s Operation game commercial, with the Grace Slick-sounding jingle singer, at about 6:00. Thanks for making this fellow Baby Boomer's day! ;)

  • Man living in the golden ages of america must of been awesome. It's pretty cool, the clothing style/attire of today is reverting back to the 50's preppy look. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a 50's cultural resurgence

  • everyone go to 2:30

  • @robloxnameDAAKOTAA one of the weirdest commercials ever

  • I wonder who the lady model was?

  • I DID grow up back then, and I am SO grateful!

  • @TrollingIsGay, I was born later than you and it is not fair :(

  • @meredit77, they said fang bang not gang bang.

  • That one at 2:30 has to be the most dangerous toy ever invented. I'd rather have my kid play Grand Theft Auto than running around playing that! My God! I know the regulations were different but who approved those things!?

  • one dollar was lot back then

  • I wonder if you have any colored Milton Bradley game commercials from the early to mid 1970s, such as for the 1972 update of the Mystery Date Game?

  • i want the bubble trumpet too!!

  • Who remembers Ollie Orbit?

  • gang bang...????

  • when time machines are invented, im going to the 50's (:

  • wtf i was born in 1997 its not fair

  • hahahaha 6:25

  • sounds like william conrad (cannon) narrated alot of these

  • This was pretty cool!

  • I love how they always show the family...as the family of 4, 1 mother, 1 father, 1 daughter, 1 son. Yup! I like that!

  • this should be FOUND toy commercial..

  • Fang Bang! Who thought up that one... wrong on so many levels

  • Ahhhh this is what drove the Greediest generation (Baby Boomers).

No wonder they're so greed driven

  • today's toys are complicated...

  • @0.29 to 1.24 ; One of Obama's "Shovel Ready" stimulus projects,with child labor !

  • 1:26 Yeah beatch!

  • The toys were much more badass back then!

  • They would pump this stuff on saturday morning during the cartoon hours :). every kid back then got up on saturday to watch cartoons till they had to go thru the saturday chore scene :D

  • Damn that motor was drowning out the announcer lol.

  • Im still in therapy after playing the Operation game.. Damned thing made me a nervous wreck !

  • Between 8:26- 8:29, Its like saying Pull up and achoo! Thumbs Up.

  • These toys kick ass. Todays toys are dicks!

  • Do you have the Tic-Toy Clock commercial?

My favorite toy of all time. Take the clock apart. Put all the colorful gears back together and it runs and keeps time!

I never saw any of these commercials.

  • I wish I could have grown up during the 30's-50's area. (avoiding the great depression of course) Things seemed so much more simple and friendly back then. It was the PERFECT balance of personality (friendliness), and technology. Nowadays, things are too fast, and too robotic. We are all turning into machines. Hateful, and selfish machines. We lost human respect and love. I am a 17 year old guy, and I really sometimes wish that I don't live in such a heartless age.

  • @xxxDrDEWofCovtownxxx :( I know how you feel...

  • @xxxDrDEWofCovtownxxx I'm a 15 year old girl and I totally agree with you. I wish I had a time machine to go back because I love the 1950's based on what I know. :)

  • Comment removed

  • things arunt built like they used to be

  • GO! GO! GO! MOTORIFIC!

  • Baby go bye bye starts with a 1970 copyright date, this isn't 60's or 50's.......?

  • I had a Vrooom motor on my bike when I was a kid.

  • And I thought the toys I had when I was a kid sucked

  • LOL Fangbang!! I want!!

  • A 5.99$ WHORE COME ON MAN!

  • man it sucks to live in the 21st century

  • Interesting, no zip codes.

  • Man you guys had it made wish I was alive around that time.

  • 1:48 Heavy Duty Dumper... I have one of those...

  • ya ha......ha.......ha i win so realistic

  • I'm so glad I was born in 73 -- we had better toys than this...

  • I take it Barbie murdered Daric since since she went missing after she filmed this. Barbie strikes again.

  • When I was a little boy my older sister gave me her Darci.

  • Thanks for 2 classic ones! Operation (I still remember it almost word for word btw...except I thought it was "great new" instead of "goofy") and Poppamatic. Also cool to hear the inimitable William Conrad doing VO.

  • today's toys are lame now and are made in China

  • Check out 1:59: it's battery driven and it's nicknamed "Woody." Sounds like something you'd buy at a sex shop.

  • ahhhhh memories

  • Those days were great where toys were made for big boys and big girls as well :) Unlike nowadays only little kids played with toys whereas teenagers only played with computers and iphones :(

  • some of thoose are real toys not like now a days

  • operation :)

  • @ 2:55 Hahahaha funny how "Fang Banged" means something different now.

  • if u notice, the kids in these commercials were ALWAYS OUTSIDE also they didnt have to worry 'bout calorie intake as much they also had hide n seek and TAG to play--now kids are INSIDE, 20 lbs oveweight and may get diabetes at 20

  • @49jubilee I know you made a legit comment but I have to spoil it.

They had lead in their toys asbestos in their ceilings and cars. Surface nuke testing from the U.S. and Russia meant everyone had nuclear particles in their skeletons.

  • I wish commercials now were as laid back and friendly as these old commercials.

  • Man, does this bring back memories. I had a Varoom motor on my bike. Everybody loved it. We spent hours playing operation. That had to be a big money maker.

  • :( why couldn't I have lived back then?

  • @LlamaSims2010 i know exactly what ya mean lol.

  • @LlamaSims2010 Because like me, you'll be almost dead.

  • @LlamaSims2010 I was. It was every bit as great as it seems in these CMs.

  • I want...all of those toys XDD

  • 1:47 heavy duty dumper

  • VROOOM DUMP TRUCK. DIG AND DUMP DIRT ALL DAY FOR NO REASON.

  • Heavy duty dumper? is that a fat guy on a laxative?

  • Can I still use that Maverick, Hollywood 51 address?

  • Wow, those trucks are really nice.

  • fang bang!

  • Damn, Fang Bang looks a helluva lot funner than Call of Duty online!

  • lol wow Fang Bang is soo racist wtf is wrong with white ppl?!?!? lolz

  • I'm suing those Operation kids for malpractice.

  • i'll cover you girl lol

  • Covergirl Darci just doesn't seem to 'stack' up against Barbi.

  • heavy duty dumper.......thats me after lunch everyday

  • i watched a few of these old 50s/60s toy commercial videos...i am only 21 but still find them interesting...but i didnt realize there was so many battery powered toys back then.....so i wonder if even then kids of the 50s would find wooden trucks plain or not...

  • I still have my Cover Girl Darci...shiny silver shoes and all!

  • the first dumptruck i had was cast iron...lasted for ever

  • they sell guns to kids?

  • you can tell its Matell, its swell!!

  • Vroom dump trucks...dirt not included.

  • the toys of yesteryear seem as cheaply made as they are today.

  • @123attivo

The toys of yesteryear were made in the USA. Now you get a free exposure to lead poisoning.

  • I think those toys are what the government must be using for those shovel ready projects. It would explain all the hold up.

  • william conrad is doing the voice over on the front loader from mattel.

  • I enjoyed this.

  • that top flight atlas commercial looked liked the people were jacking off the toy lol

  • wow. the subliminal messaging for Trouble starts at 7:25. Well it actually starts at the beginning of the trouble commercial. either way, jesus christ wow. ive always heard of that shit but i never believed any of it

  • Those commercials rules! but damn, LOL!!!!!!! Fang Bang i think is probably the worst game-toy ever made!.

  • @Xqrement But, it's a gas!

  • Awwww! I want a Bubbl Trumpet. :U

  • love it

  • Wow, toy ads were long back then

1:48 "Heavy duty dumper!" Sounds like me after eating at Wendys or Taco Bell ;p

Wow, the Operation box didn't change at all from when I was a kid (Child of the 80s) 5:25 BEST LAUGH EVER! XD

9:0-0 AHH! Scary Santa puppet is scary! O_O

  • the motoriffic commercial sounds like an advertisement for a potential power rangers series! LOL

  • lol darci is my sisters name

  • I have a question. sorry for not knowing but why were box tops so important at the time??

  • @PowerGenerator1 - It was a way that the manufacturer had proof that you actually bought the cereal or what ever. If you could send in a box top then your parents actually bought the product.

  • All toys still available on EBAY!

  • do you think some of these toys have improved or have they lost thier appeal as they were improved. and how many toys can not be found anymore?

  • i had the vroom toy 34-128 !! damn i almost forgot bout it

  • Thanks for posting these old commercials.

  • The IDEAL toy factory in Queens, N.Y. is now an empty shell with a "For Rent" sign on the front, a mute testimony to the failed economic policies of several administrations. All over the Northeast, thousands of Americans had jobs which gave them stability and a little upward mobility. Now it's Wal-Mart or McDonald's, wit the ability to barely read and write...

  • toys really have not changed since the 60's

  • I had Trouble. At first the pegs were wood. My sister and I took that game seriously. We would play it over and over to decide who would do the dishes for that week. Kohner isn't even around now, but Trouble is ! And where is Headache? Does any one remember Bess Myerson in the Fab commerical?

  • I had Trouble. At first the pegs were wood. My sister and I took that game seriously. We would play it over and over to decide who would do the dishes for that week. Kohner isn't even around now, but Trouble is ! And where is Headache? Does any one remember Bess Myerson in the Fab commerical.

  • @amuslima99 we loved popping the pop-a-matic non-stop until my mother would scream LOL ah the 60's

  • @Robert4770 Ha! That's the chance our parents took for buying us games/toys that made a sound !

  • I think it was a very clever game. And it's still around !

  • Too bad it's ruined by the constant obnoxious logo. Hate it when these logos are on the screen, but the worst ones are the ones that are on all the time. If you wanna have a laugh, call a television station and ask them why they have to put a logo on the lower right of the screen constantly.

  • @TheGibbonsFamily sorry but its the only way to protect my stuff. Try to enjoy it. Youd be amazed the grief I go through. Have a good night.

  • @tvdays Too bad there isn't another way to protect your stuff from those evil old tv commercial thieves. For Family TV/Movie Nights, we want to use some of these that don't have any added logos/credits.

As everyone who remembers television before they started incrementally slipping their station logos on top of our picture knows, it's far more enjoyable without the constant distraction.

Couldn't you just have your logo appear in the first 10 seconds and/or the last 10 seconds?

    Good job anyway!

  • @tvdays I'm guessing you somehow located 16MM film reels of these commercials, and then had to telecine and color-correct them. It's not as if anyone had VCRs in the 60s. Thanks for sharing! (though it would be great if there were a way to buy logo-less ones.)

  • @tvdays Some people will find ANYTHING to complain about...

  • @tvdays

How are these TV commercials "Yours" ???

Did you buy the rights to them?

  • @TheGibbonsFamily They do that to keep people from stealing the video. Also it helps to keep the copy right nazi's from complaining to youtube and shutting the video down.

  • @TheGibbonsFamily get over it

  • @TheGibbonsFamily stop crying

  • that motorific toy looks fucking awesome.

  • that was a lot more fun than crummy video games--at least they burned calories and arent having type 2 diabetes--along with energy drinks

  • I wonder how many kids got a belt whipping for blowing that bubble horn around their dad back in the 50's

  • I am only 11 but I feel OLD after watching this!

  • was that patty mccormic in that maverick commercial?

  • OMG I remember that trumpet Bubblematic...

  • feel brute power seeping through your veins while you play with a plastic truck in the sandbox!

  • Hehe 9:16.

    "...gay party dress..."

Nice way to describe a doll lady:D

  • fail.

  • "Fang Bang" (2:30) is a masterpiece! What a bizarre concept.

  • Was that Maverick add for a toy or for foil?

  • let's face it, Trouble and Headache were the same game...

  • Lol, "blast off top flight rocket"

  • The newest operation game..."Our panel has decided that this operation is too costly for the gov't to pay for. You lose"

  • @afretired04 you got that right.can see it coming .

  • I want that dump truck! LOL

  • Those trucks looked way too loud. And my kids would annoy the hell out of me with that Fang Bang.

  • William Conrad is doing that Mattel Var-room commercial!

  • FANG BANG!!!

  • my ex wife had a heavy duty dumper

  • Now I see why kids these day's play most of the time with video games half of those toys that baby boomers use to play with were "JUNK" I don't blame them they did not have a choice, you can say what ever you want a bout video games but they are more exciting to play then those "fang bang" junk. I bet you any of those kids would rather have a wii than a cheap fang bang If I had a time machine I would probe it.

  • that is so cool

  • Dear Ira,

Actor/singer/announcer:Bill Conrad is the promoter of Matel's"Varoom Dump Truck"Toy.

  • hahahah heavy dooty dumper

  • This is the way kids should act instead of being video game addict and internet zombies

  • hotwheels tracks that dont end in a retarded crash?

HOLY SHIT I MUST HAVE ONE!!!!!!

but seriously, what the fuck is with modern hotwheels tracks?

  • that sounded like william conrad of cannon series on the hot wheels tune up set

  • Did one of the comercials say heavy duty dumper

  • ( imatation of kid in the 1950/60's ) I want it !

  • The Atlas Rocket still looks fun. Fang Bang looks like something from Lord of the Flies! 

  • 4:13 There were no obese kids back then.

  • Fang Bang has 'Lord of the Flies' written all over it.

  • The kids in the commercials are now 60-70 years old xD

  • @Lugmillord I was a kid in the 60's I remember some of these comerical and Im 52 years old! not in my 60's or 70's please, lets not push it! LOL!

  • @magicalhoneypie oops, ok, sorry :P

  • @magicalhoneypie for more 50s nostalgia watch: "watch?v=ZzqRaimyJws"

  • that looks vilent.. just look at the kids faces! Dump truck: must be loud if playing inside. nothing else to say...........

  • Bess Meyerson was a former Miss America and very beautiful.

  • I love these. My 89 year old grandpa remembred some of these after I showed these to him!

  • 8:40 it looks like a d**K

  • FAR OUT!!!!!! That was hilarious

  • I liiked the girl in the 'Darci' commercial. She's a real live doll!

  • Don't know if it was my imagination, but I could've sworn that the Vroom Dump Truck commercial was shot in a cemetary. Check the background. Are those gravestones? ;)

  • These toys together with their original packaging would be worth big bucks today!

  • I'm a heavy duty dumper to

  • OMG pause the video right at the 09:01 mark....that puppet santa is pissed off!!!! hahahahaah

  • Fang Bang LOL This has made me laugh all day. So weird. Too bad my kids don't get to have such funny adverts, or interesting toys. All we have today is crap. Really love all these old TV adverts.

  • wow that is a gay party dress!

  • hahaha "heavy duty dumper" hahaha XD

  • I still have operater

  • 'Fang Bang'? You have got to be kidding. I am 50 years old and that is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. I don't remember ever seeing that.
