@joescivic You guys made my day... The whole Idea behind Vtec is good Mpg. If the car was driven in low rpms around town it would get great mpgs. When the car is kept at high rpms like we saw in the video, it would get less mpgs. I don't care if the engine was built, It is a small one with vtec cams, it has no choice but to get good mpgs.

Part of the reason he does so well is b/c his car just better equipped for the conditions (i.e sand) @3:45 and 8:16, the FD is like "oh shyt sand" and he just rides thru it. The only point he's at a disadvantage at is accelerating out of corners, even entering and maintaining corners the Honda is performing at a higher speed, b/c it doesn't have to worry about overpowering the car and spinning out. Also the driver is a bit ballsy.

Part of the reason he does so well is b/c his car just better equipped for the conditions (i.e sand) @3:45 and 8:16, the FD is like "oh shyt sand" and he just rides thru it. The only point he's at a disadvantage at is accelerating out of corners, even entering and maintaining corners the Honda is performing at a higher speed, b/c it doesn't have to worry about overpowering the car and spinning out. Also the driver is a bit ballsy.
