Ha, good point. All of the new pop stuff I figure out nowadays is by ear. Sheet music just seems tedious now, however, you need it for classical music of course. But a year ago.. sure I needed sheets, its still a bit of a crutch now and then.

leoniu: Ah, I don't know about that ;-). I know people who play classical musical by ear. It's more difficult than pop, that's for sure, but it can be done. I believe playing by ear, is the most natural way to play music.
