  • Saddam was the best leader in the region in general.

  • That had to be freaky as shit the first time he sat down with saddam

  • I LOVE SADDAM ....ALLAH YARHAMAH!!!!!

  • he was to dangerous, to controlling, to ruthless to be kept alive or stay in power. the United States also should have been more on top of the situation that unfolded in the middle east. i also believe that Iraq would have been freed from Hussein's regime 2 to 3 years earlier

  • for the people who feel that Saddam had a human heart i can understand that. but he killed thousands of his own people with gas, his secret police made booms to care throughout the world and to use them in Iraq. so for people to say that "i feel bad for Saddam" shouldn't be true. I've seen the kinds of things he did to his people. he killed anyone that tried to flee the country because of the regime's grip on the country. in my opinion Saddam Hussein got what was coming to him.

  • OMFG You got 13,054 just by re posting a Nat Geo documentary. Commercials as well! How much money do you earn from this shit? lol.

  • Hard to understand how evil men could have a human side

  • @xBlooWahFullx seriously i think he knew that he was done and just became attached to George because he wasnt a dick to him, I think his punishment wast certainly just but for some reason this doc showed a human side to the monster. I think geroge became attached to him more than he let on aswell.

  • I wonder if George Piro set new standards with the FBI for how they interrogate people.

  • They've gotta do this to 'Kasab' the guy who did the Bombay 2008 attacks!

  • stupid advirtesment

  • Wow thats really interesting. When i was in high school back then i said... "that fucker is gonna die." but now since i watched this.. It made me realised that saddam had a good side.. I kinda felt bad... But its true though.. it would be fair if he dies. And so he did. And to George Piro is a true and real hero! I admire him.

  • @khey86 More than likely the man knew he was facing death. He was at the end of his regime and had nothing left only this man George Piro...Even sickest criminals on death row act with kindness to prison guards. Yeah, George Piro, is certainly someone to be admired as he did something no government was able to do.. he finally got Saddam to talk...but like I said, the circumstances were quite dire.

  • I actually felt sympathy for saddam a lil... But George was a true hero who acted behind the scene and many Americans don't know him.

  • we should interrogate bush! millions of people died and dismembered or lost love ones because of bush and his girlfriend tony blair of england, thousands of our boys got killed as well at iraq, we must put the son of a %$#$@ before he dies and go to hell!

  • chuck norris pissed in a bottle and called it Era laundry detergent....if anyone seen the ad they know what i mean..

  • over 100 thousand us soldier were killed

over 1 million Iraqi were killed

500 thousand Iraqi moved to other countries

both of sides lost friends, fathers, mothers, sons..etc

just because that mother fucker thought we have mass destruction weapons?

someone should send him to jail

  • @mohaa2007 Did you watch the entire documentary? At the very end, Piro states that Saddam said that he had the capabilities to reassemble WMDs and that he would have continued to assemble them to protect Iraq. Not only that, but Saddam slaughtered hundreds of thousands of his own people in mass genocide. If a tyrant was in the state you live and was slaughtering hundreds of thousands of your countrymen, wouldn't you want someone to come in and liberate you?

  • @dandingo13 i didn't like saddam regime, he killed thousands of iraqis. but it's just the reality.

  • @dandingo13 Liberate? well obviously that did not work because we ended up killing just as many of his "country men" including are own.

  • @uuukkjj We killed his soldiers who were MURDERING innocent men, women and children. How many people would you consider to be an OK number for a dictator to murder before someone steps in and stops them?

  • there was never any weapons!! BUSH was the tru terrorist!

  • i feel bad for sadum now :/

  • George Piro did a great job! No other could have accomplished what he did, using his linguistic, cultural skills- he's of ancient Assyrian descent (born in Beirut)- he managed to get across the points that many people were and still are scratching their heads over.

    God Bless You George Piro!

  • Thousands of deaths just to kill one man who didn't even have the weapons all caused by just another single person. Not worth it.

  • Bush was a Great President

  • @lowes763 people will realize that 20 years from now. that he really was.

  • was saddam a tyrant? yes. did he deserve this punishment? no. it is sad that george w. bush jr. deserved this punishment more so then saddam and he will never see it. saddam just wanted the mid east to see him as a ruler that was not to be crossed in protection of his own regime. but saddam did deserve imprisonment but i think death was just bush jr.'s tally to win favor from his daddy.

  • Bush is the most uneducated president this country has ever seen.

  • Saddam is a strong man. All of them are. Osama was a gentle man as well. His manners.

  • americans were oil hungry, they went to iraq n drank enough oil as they can.

    thats all.

u give different names for it, WMD,AL QUAIDA.

u need someone with the caliber of sadam to control iraq.

middle east rulers have been really harsh from history, controling middle east isnt easy. IRAQ people hate americans n they want the americans to get the hel out of their country.

so y the hell americans care about sadam when IRAQI people dont want americans? bush should have concentrated on US economy

  • @MrLankanlion everyone bitches about dictators but once someone declares war

oooh lets all bitch about that too

ur damned if you do, ur damned if you don't

  • Down with Bush!

  • @LilVador

ya, its necessary coz if he is alive, u will be starving for oil. bloody opportunistic.

can u tell me, y it was NECESSARY?

  • @LilVador

y was is necessary? he didnt have WMD NOR CONNECTION WITH AL QUIDA.

  • NatGeo is the best thing in the world. Too bad a younger generation can't appreciate information about the world they live in.

  • @BeatsByeJ nat geo is the best, I agree.

  • @BeatsByeJ I'm a fourteen year old and have a great interest in information from all subjects. Honestly, I've been into National Geographic for as long as I can remember. Please don't group an entire generation together because that's just closed minded, even a bit ignorant. Sure, not all people my age give a damn about the world around them, but there are those like me who really do. Thanks for the upload! =] Great story. George Piro is simply amazing.

  • @LitaKino12 I am one of you mind friend i am 15 and very interested nat geo and all of this type of information also I like Burn Notice A lot.

  • that was amazing. George Piro truly is a master of speech craft.

  • I mean the guy would of atleast cared how saddam dnt u think?

  • well im not willing to take everything show here as given...
