One time when i was making my style of the cake, I accedently put in 1 TABLESPOON full of backing powder.

When the cake was in the microwave, it overflowed EVERYWHERE and i had to clean the microwave and put some of the overflowing cake in another mug. The cake was RLLY good. But it made me clean the microwave. Also if u add mint chocolate to it, it is too good!

I made up a fat-free version of that same recipe. All I did was omit the egg and the oil, and just add milk to the dry ingredients (plus one teaspoon of baking soda). It tastes really good, too. Also, my mom came up with a recipe for an apple cinnamon mug cake--leave out the cocoa, and throw in a peeled and chopped apple, and however much cinnamon you want. It's really good too. :)

Oh, I know that, but with the egg and the oil, a traditional chocolate mug cake works out to be 866 calories, and probably more fat than a person should consume in a day. I mean, it'd be okay for an active little boy like the one in the video, but my way is just a variation for people who are looking to cut back a bit on fat. It's really simple, you just add baking soda or baking powder, then add milk and keep mixing it in until the mixture forms a batter-like consistency.
