I just finished the book and much of the dialogue comes straight from the text. It is a wonderful adaptation. Frankly, I can't imagine the new version can top this version.

I saw the new film a few days ago and watching this gives a fuller background to the story. The story in the 2011 version isn't so good, but the atmosphere, the tension between characters is more attractive, somehow almost poetic. And gives more rhythm, I like both versions for different reasons,
