Sebastian Shaw?Isn't that the name of the first actor to play Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader? And it's kinda ironic how McAvoy looks like a younger version of Alec Guiness a.k.a. Original Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Fassbender looks like a younger version of Sebastian Shaw (Actor), and how this also happens to be a prequel film, just like the Star Wars prequels.
@arsenalrulez1000 ehh its a very vague resemblance but yes thats what i thought of too this first time i read an x-men comic book with shaw and the hellfire club. im not really sure if you can call this movie a prequel. i know its "officially a prequel but it doesnt line up with the original x-men trilogy". like in the last stand when charles and magneto meet jean grey, they are considerably older and charles is bald and walking. i think first class is more of a re-imagining/reboot.

This is probably one of, if not my most favorites scene scene in the movie. The Hellfire Crew consists of three members. Three. They go up against dozens and dozens of CIA agents with automatic weapons and LAW's. And there is a groups of young mutants waiting in the compound. Yet these three mutants manage to storm the CIA headquarters and lay waste to virtually every human there, while the younger mutants can only hide and cowar in terror as these three masters kick ass and take no names.
@Cerberusballs You need to keep in mind that the young mutants are not accustomed to using their powers. They're used to hiding and trying to pretend they're normal humans. Not to mention their youth, which means they're not fully accustomed to the full extent of their powers, where as the Hellfire members are used to using their powers in combat and are older and thus more experienced. It also didn't help that the soldiers were trying to confine the young mutants when they came out to help

In comics azazel can pretty much rape shaw and magneto since in comics azazael is an actual demon who is immortal he can also teleport and use dark magic.

@LuchoGFly well from what I know Darwin A.k.a THe Black guy can adapt to anything so when Shaw took ALex's Heat energy and put it in Darwins mouth he didnt really die hes still alive and notice when Shaw ,Riptide and Azazel Make their attack. Alex and Darwin were playing that pinball game once Darwin heard the noise he turned around and touched Alex's stomach which I believe he was adapting to his heat energy.

Sebastian Shaw?Isn't that the name of the first actor to play Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader? And it's kinda ironic how McAvoy looks like a younger version of Alec Guiness a.k.a. Original Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Fassbender looks like a younger version of Sebastian Shaw (Actor), and how this also happens to be a prequel film, just like the Star Wars prequels.

@arsenalrulez1000 ehh its a very vague resemblance but yes thats what i thought of too this first time i read an x-men comic book with shaw and the hellfire club. im not really sure if you can call this movie a prequel. i know its "officially a prequel but it doesnt line up with the original x-men trilogy". like in the last stand when charles and magneto meet jean grey, they are considerably older and charles is bald and walking. i think first class is more of a re-imagining/reboot.

Just remarkable, because it goes in split second from laughter to deep tragic shock without affecting the credibility of the story, back and forth. Every actor has been brilliantly directed and it is a gallery of portrays, not just two actors leading the story. In addition to the screenplay, the things that make this film are the narration - which comes across as if it's addressing children, the cinematography - which is mostly ambient light with lush shadows and highlights, and the performances of the entire cast all of which are flawless. This is probably one of, if not my most favorites scene scene in the movie. The Hellfire Crew consists of three members. Three. They go up against dozens and dozens of CIA agents with automatic weapons and LAW's. And there is a groups of young mutants waiting in the compound. Yet these three mutants manage to storm the CIA headquarters and lay waste to virtually every human there, while the younger mutants can only hide and cowar in terror as these three masters kick ass and take no names.

@Cerberusballs You need to keep in mind that the young mutants are not accustomed to using their powers. They're used to hiding and trying to pretend they're normal humans. Not to mention their youth, which means they're not fully accustomed to the full extent of their powers, where as the Hellfire members are used to using their powers in combat and are older and thus more experienced. It also didn't help that the soldiers were trying to confine the young mutants when they came out to help

Alex and Darwin were playing that pinball game once Darwin heard the noise he turned around and touched Alex's stomach which I believe he was adapting to his heat energy.

1. Bacon's Shaw is on level with Ledger's joker and Weaving's Red Skull in that no one will ever play the characters better than them.
