Ayers is a bogus issue, raised by McCain Republicans who can't defend their record.

Obama was asked by community leaders in Chicago to head a board that oversaw a large grant that Ayers had won funding for.

Obama did that job well and, in the process, won the respect of his board and the Chicago community .

That's how he met Bill Ayers.

If Palin had read the article, she'd know "Obama Has Met Ayers, but the Two Are Not Close". Google it.

In Chicago in 1995, conservative Republicans, who knew Ayers history, worked with him without censure. So why criticize Obama?
