The thing that struck me the most about the scene was that Big Daddy seemed to be more overwhelmed with pride for a daughter who was acing her final examination, or walking down the aisle on graduation day than a man exhibiting extreme agony from being burned alive. It was an interesting choice for Nicholas Cage to play that scene that way, but it really did work out to be quite emotionally impactful.

“Switch to Kryptonite!”: Kryptonite being a play on Superman’s weakness and literally a “Krypton Light” which is in a strobe light. He was telling her to put the strobe light on her gun to confuse her enemies.

“Go To Robin’s Revenge!”: A tactic used by Robin in his comics was when faced against a blind martial arts master, he used a whistle to distract and confuse his enemy so he could flank around him and attack from behind before the master could regain his senses.

@spirittammyk Inception gobbled up awards and is a classic. And yes hollywood does permanently have their head up their asses. Slumdog and the hurt locker although i wouldn't call them some of the best but i think they do deserve to be remembered 10 years from now but they probably won't.
