  • cool :)

  • the solution = it was unsinkable .. at least they tought... so ismay put only 20 lifeboats on it or... 22?

But after this tragedy..... the historie of savety on the ocean, changed forever!

  • @EddieMoonWalker 20 lifeboats.... 16 lifeboats and 4 collapsable lifeboats, enough for just less than half of the people onboard titanic.. titanic influenced the rules of traveling on sea to be changed and improved upon. :)

  • @gagajakee111 that's exacly what i was trying to say, take a look at the Rms olympic before april 1912, and after...

  • thar question is already answered xD did you saw ghost of the abyss? xD titanic had a FAT ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can answer all your questions. The first one she broke because there was too much wait in the stern because it couldn't hold it so she snapped. Two the lifeboats were not filled because their was too much panic and no one knew what to do since a tragedy like this never happened before this. Three the passangers said themselves how terriffing it was the night she sank, they described at the best they could they were pretty terrified.

  • @ThePhantomFanatic not only did it break due to all the weight and strain on the hull but the ship was weakened by the expansion joints. not a lot was known about expansion joints back then, not many ships had them, they were something new and they didnt know how to work them properly

  • It had a stress reliver shaped like a needle, RIGHT where it split. Had it been shaped liek a thermometer, the roundness would have caused for allowing more pressire ot be absorbed, and it MAY not have broken. But the props, the engines, and the boilers were all located towards the back. The stern end of the ship in itself weight 32,498 tons, contributing to most of the ships weight. That is why it split.

  • If Murdoch hadn't ordere Full Stop, then Full Reverse, the ship would haev been moving faster, creating more pressure against the rudder, (which was too small anyway) therefore she would have turned faster.

  • @MovieModerator the rudder wasnt too small, it passed all the turning tests in the sea trials, it turned perfectly fine and fast enough.

  • 1) The bow couldn't support its own weight so it collapsed.

    2) The crew were putting people on the lifeboats to quickly, so they didn't count how many people were are it.

    3) Very

  • Their were 4 classes 1st 2nd 3rd and crew I will tell 4 the to 1 at the most crew died the most 3rd died the most out of 1st and 2nd because crew and stewards wouldn't let them past the gates 2nd died by in the middle 1st class lost like 100 or something like that

  • well the life boats wernt fulled filled becus the officesr thogt to many pasegers may case the life boats to capsies so ya srry for speed speling

  • well the life boats wernt fulled filled becus the officesr thosg to many pasegers may case the life boats to capsies so ya srry for speed speling

  • If she had drove head first into the iceberg she would of been fine.

  • @Starryvideos . . . Yes, but then hundreds of people would have died or been injured at the front of the ship when she hit the iceberg. The speed she was going at would have crushed people on impact. I would rather take my chances as the ship sank than be crushed to death or stuck under a huge chunk of the ship in pain.

  • @azzamonkeyman Also, if they had crashed right into the iceberg, many of the hull plates would have buckled and thousands of rivets would have popped of and thereby opening big gashes in the plating. This would have made the ship sink faster.

  • @gladgurkan91 . . . It wouldn't sink faster, that's for sure, but the ship would only have a hole at the front of the ship, instead of a lot of long holes along it's side. Only one of the watertight compartments would have been ripped open, not five of them. Only one compartment open would make the ship sink slower than five obviously, and the rivets WERE weak, but they wouldn't just pop out! They weren't that weak. The ship wouldn't stay afloat a day let alone almost five if they could pop out!

  • @azzamonkeyman Haha, nope. It would sink faster, since she would have been opened to the sea in a number if places. Imagine it yourself; A ship at 52 000 tonnes, coming at nearly full speed, against a iceberg at least forur times heavier than the ship. And you tell me that it would only open up a single hole? That´s not logical, you know. The force of the impact wold create a small "wave" that quickly would spread along the ship´s two sides, and thereby making alot of rivets heads pop of...

  • @gladgurkan91 ...and thereby opening up alot of the plating. Sure, the stem of the ship would have been crashed too, but there is no way that a crash like that would only end in a single hole at the stem.

  • @azzamonkeyman The rivets weren't the only thing that was weak, the coldness of the Atlantic made the steel brittle, plus, it was low quality metal, so that contributes to the reason.

  • @azzamonkeyman Khm...In the front of the ship there were no cabins for people, no civilians were allowed there. Only some workers maybe would have been there. the bow would have crushed together and because it would have flood only one or two compartments like that, the ship would have stayed afloat.

  • @Sta,rryvideos Better still. If she'd gone half the speed, she would've missed it.

  • The reason why the ship broke is because about 1,000 people was at the stern, and the stern was so weak and there were a lot of people was at the stern (I already told you that) and the weight of the people made the stern too heavy for the bow to hold the stern.

  • @MalaFiumanka . . . I once thought that this may have been possible, but it was a big huge massive ship, and I mean huge, it was the biggest moving structure ever made by the hand of man, so I really do not think that 1500 people standing on her stern would break it, and if this was the case then it wouldn't have break between the 3rd and 4th funnel, it would have broke very near the top of the stern, and there wasn't as many as 1000 people on the stern, becuase some people were other places.

  • @MalaFiumanka I think is the engine weight and those 1000 people.

  • @NikkoBellic100 . . . Possibly the engine because it was such a big heavy load for the ship to lift into the air which may have broke her back, but 1000 people standing on her stern wouldn't have broke her. She was such a huge ship with so many levels and floors and so thickly built, the weight of 1000 people wouldn't just break a titan!

  • @azzamonkeyman Well then I guess the stern was too heavy, and in the video called Titanic Sinking Simulation, the annonation said, "causing 3,000 tons to lift out if the water, causing the structer to fail !" I guess it's that.

  • @MalaFiumanka. . . Yes, it was the stern's weight that broke the ship. the front of the ship was soooo heavy because it was filled with water, and then the stern was so light beacuse it was filled with air, and it's like lifting a long stick into the air. If you don't hold it right and support the weight evenly, then it may snap, and that's what happened with the ship. The back end was so heavy yet so light compared to the front and the front couldn't cope under the pressure so it snapped! :-o

  • @NikkoBellic100 You are right.

  • It is a great video but many people, me as well, believe that the pressure caused Titanic to break apart at a shallower angle. Instead of in the most recent Titanic movie, the ship most likely broke apart at 11 degrees instead of 30 or more like in your video. Look up "New Titanic Theory" and watch the first video. :D

  • Great Video!

  • @shanwei10 thank you very much! :P I'm happy you enjoyed it.

  • There were only 9 survivors who saw the break up. Among these Jack Thayre & Eva Hart.

  • @AROBASPARK Really? I never knew it was that little. :S

  • @azzamonkeyman i bet you alot of people who died saw it

  • @alexcubs25 . . . What do you mean? :-) A lot of people who died that night saw the break up? :-o Oh you bet they did! :-D When you think about how many people were on the ship once the lights went out, over 1500 were left on the sinking vessel, and then a lot of the people on the ship would have heard a huge explosion and looked at the ground to see it tearing part. A lot of people would have seen it but then froze to death once the ship finally went down with them holding on for dear life. :-(

  • @azzamonkeyman right, also keep in mind that many survivors could not watch the horror, so they didnt see the break up

  • @alexcubs25 . . . That is very true I suppose :-( If you were a woman in a lifeboat that had just left behind her husband to drown on a sinking ship, you probably wouldn't watch because you would keep imaginaing the worst about what was happening to your loved ones. :-( Infact, when some female survivors of the tragedy were asked how the ship sank, they replied by saying, "The ship sank?! Oh dear god, I had no idea, I fell asleep on the lifeboat! I was tired and it was one in the morning!" :-D

  • @azzamonkeyman How many women where in denial? just some or lots?

  • @alexcubs25 . . . Not a lot of women were in denial but some were. They would rather imagine that the ship never sank than imagine it sinking with their men still onboard. :-(

  • @azzamonkeyman very true

  • (From Below) Now for the break-up following the up-dated theory, suppose that a similar sequence from the vid occured, where the propellers are just a few stories out of the water, with the ship attaining, say a 35 degree angle, just like in the video. Even with this scenario, a good deal of the ship's expansion joint could be underwater and the occurance of the updated version of the break-up could still occur.

  • As for the shallow angle reducing the wave, what ifthe scenario from "Deep Inside the Titanic, Part 5" occured, the scene showing the stern rising with the propellers just a few stories out of the water, where the lights then go out and the break-up then occurs? Even at that higher angle in the vid, the stern still breaks off gently if the break-up is gradual. (Continued above)

  • But in reality, the aft expa great deal of some of that expansion joint was underwater?ansion joint wouldn't have allowed all those tons of stern weight to rise 45 degrees, the ship split at a lower angle..."

Sure, this would seem like a likely scenario if the entire expansion joint was airborn, but what if a good deal of the expansion joint was submerged? Underwater, it would be more supported than being entirely suspended in total gravity when airborn.

  • yea...u are right.

  • I was going to, but like I said to coyote47713 my laptop wasn't working so I couldn't

  • add music

  • I was going to but there was something up with my laptop

  • The ship broke because of the expansion joint between the third and fourth funnel, it was the shape of a V and if you stress that over and over it will exentually break. watch titanics achellies heel it will tell you what i just tolled you.

  • Yes, that is a very practical theory, but what I'm getting at in the video is the fact that there are lots of reasons and contributing factors that would have lead to the ship's break up and ultimately her demise.

  • I know why titanic break in half! The ship break in half becaus in the engine room one of the engines have blow up!u know when the electrycity goes off.and one more saying the ship break in half becaus in the dobble bottom alote of water have been in it

  • That's just one theory out of loads. There are many more scientific theories which go into great detail at the ships designs, and if the answer was as simple as an engine blowing up then scientists wouldn't be so fascinated.

  • I mean no disrespect to your video because I enjoyed it, I enjoy everything about this ship. However, there are a few new documentaries that delve deeper into how and why she split. Amazing information, Titanic's Final Moments: The True Story is one of them. Completely changed the believed way it sank. I felt like fellow Titanic enthusiasts should watch this film. Other than that love the vids!

  • Gordon: Thanks for the documentary tip, I'll check it out!

  • nobody can really imagine how terrifying it could have been when titanic sank. even kate winslet said she couldn't imagine it for a minute and she filmed the movie for around 7 or 8 months in the water.

  • That is true MelissaAnnLegard1989, which is why it is a question which can never be answered unless you were actually there.

  • i think that the ship broke up backwards (the middle being pulled down) and then the stern settling back gently due to the top being attached.

  • Yes, the ship might have broke the way you think because Jack Thayer, a survivorof the disaster, drew how the Titanic sank and he drew it breaking with the middle being pulled down.

  • witnesses may have believed the angle to have been high, because the propellers were exposed, and the ship was many stories high. but in reality, the aft expansion joint woulnt have allowed all those tons of stern weight to rise 45 degrees. the ship split at a low angle, allowing the stern to settle back almost gently. this is why no one reported a massive splash as the back of the ship fell back into the sea. the angle was lower than most assume.

  • must of the questions there are anwersed stern coud'nt take the weight ,the lifeboats being filled half full was due to the reason the ship felt to save and many surviving passers that night didn't feel that the ship was at an angle as it was really sinking its not in till the titanic name plate on the side of the ship was under water and thn passers tryed getting in knowing that the ship was sinking+

  • we know the britannic hit floating mines

  • The Britannic is also a very tragic disaster in maritime history. The way she sank and how the propellers minced all the people was truely terrible. :-(

  • fantastic job 5/5

  • Thank you very much. I'm glad you liked it. You'll be happy to know I am making another titanic movie showing the sinking in great detail. :-D

  • nice job on the break up very nice 5/5 rating :) btw the titanic boats not filled with good capacity the first boat had 28 of the 65 seats filled some 1 boat launched with 12 people bad night but good movie again 5/5

  • It broke in half because the boiler machines and the hull were so heavy that the stern couldn't take that weight. Its just like saying a tree that is slanted in the air with 300 bricks in it. Do you think it would split in half?

  • Well yes, but what I'm getting at in this video is that there are many speculations as to why she broke. Your theory being one major theory and probably the most common and phesiable one, but then there is the fire that burnt in one of the boiler rooms in that part of the ship before Titanic depatred Southampton which could have weakened the hull and then at what angle did she break? A high or low angle for witnesses say it was high, yet scientists say it would of been low. So many questions!!!

  • its 73 years not 83

  • Oops! Well I was wrong. :-)

  • nice work!

  • Thank you for commenting on all ma videos. Ur so kind! lol :-)

  • no problem.... just please return the favor and comment and subscribe to me!!!

let me know when ur coming out with new vids... great job!!!

  • wow!!! it's so damn good!!! keep it up!!!

  • thank you very much! XD

  • Great job..! love the scene 1:29-1:33

  • Thank you very much magicianmunar. I like that scene too. :-)

  • OMG! The pictures in this video are FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! That first version of the sinking is amazing. It just glides down so effortlessly. And it tilts up brilliantly. U should win an award. And ur right. There is a shroud of mystery surrounding titanic. Great video! Keep up the unbelievable work!

  • Thank you so much! I was going to make a movie but was experiencing problems of sorts and decided to make a quick vid. I'm glad u liked it. I will keep u posted for any upcoming movies.
