@MarkyGRocks Man d I apologize for not checking this video. Dude damn man how long have you been playing. In the beginning of the video; sounds like you were using a vocalizer or tube for your voice. I will say this again some of what I think are the greater in playing the guitar surely are either overlooked or underestimated. Pro tools helps yeah but dude you played that I watched it is bad ass man. For me for you, for your fans and friends please, do not stop playing. I need a guitarist. peace

@HeavenlyRealms0910 Hi, the vocalizer you mention is a combination of a Flanger and a Wah pedal, but your right it does sound like a voice and thats why i decided to use it. If you need some help let me know and if i can help i will.

How do you perfectly mute the strings without causing unwanted string noise...did you use a noise gate compressor?

@ManiacSerialKilleR Hey, do you mean how to mute the strings in general? or is there a particular part of the vid that you have seen? let me know and i will help you out on what i'm doing...i dont use a noise gate or compressor... in fact many of the Eleven Rack presets have them built in but i turn them off.

@MarkyGRocks I mean when Im trying to play fast solos, theres this really irritating open string noise that I get, I try to reduce it as much as I can with both my right palm and left palm.... the noise is so loud I can't hear the actual solo...thus making it sound really crappy. Also, I heard Marty Friedman from Megadeth taped his strings on the top fret while recording those fast arpeggiated solos on Rust In peace, Is that what most musicians do, or is there a real technique to manually do it?

@ManiacSerialKilleR OK, i think i know what you mean, yes you can use a damper to mute the over ringing of the strings when sweeping or pivoting....if you check out some of my other vids you can see i use a kids hair band to dampen the strings.check out the Didgidesign Eleven Rack (Heavy) vid i did you can see it on there. Also a lot or ringing can be stopped by technique or caused by wrong technique.. do you have a vid i can see where the sound is over ringing? or could you do one?

@MarkyGRocks Thanks I'll def see the video. But I'll be unable to post a vid, i do not have a suitable camera for that. Anyway, the string noise if I had to describe..I'd say it's extremely annoying. it's cool when the solos are at slow-medium tempo, but when you speed up and you gotta do sweeps arpegios,etc., it gets real messed up. I think a lot of that has to do with the tone from the amp that I'm using which is line 6 spider IV. The distortion already sounds like crap. Plus the noise..aargh

@MrDarinWarren Hey, the software i use is to edit the vids is sony vagas 10....the video in video thing is done by overlaying one vid on the other and adjusting the size and position of the "in vid" ..... i thought most programs would do this, similar to overlaying a picture or image.

@MarkyGRocks I just switched to a Mac. iMovie is similar to but better than Windows Movie Maker. It allows a lot of editing and audio syncing, but no fancy stuff like Vegas. I will be getting Final Cut Express when I get a new camera. That's more like the Vegas software.
