@ytcomposer All over! I was born in Newcastle, with grandparents in Manchester, but my family moved to London when I was five, then again to Southampton when I was twelve, and the Thames Valley when I was fifteen. Cambridge is "my" town in the UK, but I lived a long time in Spain and I've been in Japan for eighteen years. I suppose I speak a modified form of received pronunciation.
This was a live performance and I was in the audience, taking the video. Of course, there will be an official DVD of the concert at some stage, and perhaps a CD as well, but the concert was just a few days ago, so they aren't available yet.
But there is lots of good Okinawan music available on CD. Perhaps that is what you mean? If that's what you're looking for, let me know and I'll try to recommend something suitable!
Well done sir, so enjoyable, I have never been to Okinawa in spite of travelling to Japan 5 times. I love this country.
Such wonderful people, and exciting culture, all the best of luck for your future stay.
Thanks so much for posting.
Best Regards.

Thanks for the post! I've been in Japan for 16 years, and love this stuff myself. Natsukawa Rimi is my favourite singer!

You have a very distinguished English dialect, I must say. From where in England do you hail, if you don't mind me asking?

@jyamamo: Quite RP indeed. :D I can tell at once that you have a genuine admiration for Japanese culture. Cheers from the States! ^_^

Hi! You could try Okinawa Shimauta Best, a compilation CD which you can find on Amazon.
The "Customers who bought this also bought" stuff is quite good, too, but if I had to choose one this is probably the one I'd go for.
I hope this helps!
