uhm the reason why the AI sucks is because its a multiplayer game...and thus not much work is done on the ai's

Well, just put the disc into ur drive, then, if u have a yahoo (the NEW version), try to send the contents of the disc to my email, (using the ATTACh button, then go to DESKTOP, then MY COMPUTER, then wherever the disc is) IF it even fits, cuz yahoo only allows the attachment of 10 MBs and under. If it's over 10 MBs, then oh wel;. :(

If only they made an EXACT copy of TA, that way I could play it once again, techinically. Ah, but Spring has done good enough of a job with BA, but still not close enough. But, there are a few things better in spring, like 'Chicken Defense'!!! With mah fav host versus666!!!

ah, this game came to be by luck, was about 9 or 10 at the time, stood in a shop an I couldn't decide which game to get... my brother just came in, picked a random one up an told me to buy it so we could leave xD

Ever since then I've been 100% hooked on RTS, nothings come close to TA other than SupCom.

TA Spring is great, however, it's a buggy piece of shit. It's great when you're half-Human and half-Programmer able to go in and fix it where it's fucked; but bottomline, it's not very accessible, or organized in this sense. I just downloaded the latest version and piece of shit doesn't even run cuz of script/conflict issues with the AI that came with it! Retarded. I download other AI and it seems to murder the program. lol. Battlecruise r 3000AD is more reliable.

playstyle of SupCom is quite different

im both a hardcore TA and a hardcore SupCom fan but SupCom just doesnt give that satisfying feeling that an hour long TA game could give

graphics might be way better but also the machine it requires to even run it at anything BUT lowest of the lowest is insane

also in TA the core and the arm actually had quite some differences where SupCom basicly has the same units but in 3 different skins for the 3 races

Forged Alliance, the expansion pack , changes this a ton. FA is what SupCom should have been.

Wow very well done Cog. I used to play TA and just got this... its AWESOME :). Find a new liffle effect or trick everyday. New people should note the game is constantly being updated as the developers add stuff for each mod, graphical potential seems pretty high.

I loved playing TA...had an awesome soundtrack which can be played jut like a regular CD. I still have the original CD for the game.

this game is amazing, albeit slightly buggy and little single-player support "out of the box", but once you figure out how to edit the script.txt file you can set up games with bots with different teams... highly recommend it
