I'm not the most hardcore Insecticon collector, but I do have 10 of each figure. All originals with diecast metal. I had a seller on ebay who sold them to me in lots of three for 35 bucks a few years ago. So the price sounds good.

are you sure theres no diecast in these? i know kickback has it in his chest region (sadly the paints chipping on near the diaclone driver spot) but i think they all have diecast chests

I'm really surprised you only picked these up this past Friday. You may as well have taken the drive up here to Seattle, where we've had them for almost two months now. Curious to know what other loot you picked up. I didn't go out Friday, but picked up on the deals Saturday. Uni Onslaught and Stormcloud for $11 and the Scout 2-packs for $9 at WalMart.

Bombshell isn't a Kabutomushi, by the way, he's a Boll Weevil. The other two are right, though I personally prefer to call Kickback a Locust.

For some reason, my toys r us hasn't gotten these guys...i took a gamble, hoping they'd have em on black friday....i woulda been seriously pissed had i waited a hour in line to get into the store....to not find them there lol

They probably got those cases in some time ago and held onto them for Friday. Pretty weak move, but they have that right as a store to do so.

There really wasn't much I was interested in, toy-wise this year though. What I did end up picking up were really just for bashing purposes and not the collection. I think if I had gone out and waited Friday morning, I'd have had a very grumpy Friday night. Haha

Weird though, about the bugs. Both TFWiki and the old Teletraan-1 wiki say Boll Weevil. Hmm.

There is die cast or some sort of metal used with the plastic. The purple area which surrounds the cockpit and makes up the chest is diecast (it feels cold on a cool day).

the only one i seem to have problems with are on the forearm of shrapnel i believe....it's one sticker...that wraps around the top, front and bottom of his forearm....it doesnt' wanna stay on

The stickers on Bombshell are really driving me up the wall (especially the ones on his feet). Only his Decepticon insignia will stay on completely.

in diaclone line, some pre-transforers had lil compartments or cockpits were you could put a wee little plastic guy that was included with the toy (they were basicly sold as mechs).

paul, use a haildryer on the stickers on hot for about 30 seconds

it softens the glue on the decals without damaging the figure. Vanhorso had a similar prob with his Skylynx, and it worked a treat for him!

if you like the die-cast...go with the originals if you can find some...in still really good condition. These i like cause they're cheaper....and brand new...so they'll last longer...hopefully haha IN another 25 years...these figures will only be...25 years old...while the originals will be 50 years old...
