@Wongsouriya Sorry for this late reply! If you want to buy this video you should go to my website and find my email on there, I will let you know how to buy it. I would post my email directly on here but youtube won't let me.
i have not seen the movie but I visited Sapa two years ago and had been in contact with a young Sapa woman through a professor who had visited prior. I met with Shu and we talked about everything- love, marriage, school, child-rearing (she was a single mother), and family. I spoke Hmong so it was very exciting to hear what she went through. My boyfriend was Vietnamese so she could speak to him too. I look forward to watching the film. I don't know enough about their life behind the smiles.
Just saw this movie. Really excellent. These girls are well-regulated, so even though they are abuses, many can have a normal life when they grow up. What they don't show in this movie is the life of Hmong boys/men, which is a totally different story. They also don't show the organizers of these girls. The reality is, behind these cute girls, there is organization and protection, and split of profit. Behind the smiles, they live a tough life. Watch the movie for the details.
love it post some more, i plan to go there this summer.
