damn hl2 does NOT look like this at all. the physics engine in this footage is waay better than that of the actual game, what happened? everything looks really smooth in this video, the physics are awesome, was this some kind of beta or smth? the game itself sucks compared to these action scenes

edit: the orchestra music is indeed outcast, or rather the *game* outcast. which was cited as being unique for having an orchestra for it's music.

I know it's old but I managed to find out a few of the music names. Ed wood:credits music. 1:26 is from Hunter hunted:orb of anarchy. 0:20 music is from arachnorox:kraptonescape. Yet to identify the outcast music, would assume it's the theater/opera style stuff but itunes has them as being ultra-heavy metal. Could also be more edwoods that I've yet to find since I can only get 30sec clips of the movie's music. 1:26 can be found on youtube

This mod is called Half Life 2 - Missing Information, this was released in 2003 before Half Life 2. But (as I know) in this mod there are more maps. Some of the maps u are on the Borealis (!) and I think VALVe gonna use this mod for Half Life 2 Episode 3.

hydra and all those were cut from the movie, because of problems that we dont know of, mustve been something like it didnt make sence i mean like theres no backround to it we dont know how it came, the combines we atleast found out they were taking over the earth but they had no history planned for the hydra im guessing

Hydra was cut due to AI complications. Valve had alot of trouble making it fight the player in a fun and realistic way, so it was chopped. It may return, it may not. The modding community has also failed at creating a hydra this is fun to fight.
