you are suppose to match the color sequence of the nine center tiles on your side of the board to the color sequence of the little cubes in the scrambler and do so before your opponent matches his side of the board to those same colors.

@imthemasteratbod8 you see the little box next to the grey phone? on 0:29 you can see through it clearly...there are patterns in it...and you have to make it the same as how it is in the little box.

It's simple... you shake the little scrambler on the right and you just follow whatever pattern it shows. When you closed your side with the windows the tiles that are seen have to match the ones in the scrambler. It is just following whatever the scrambler saids faster and first than your opponent on your other side...

nope. "ideal" stopped making "rubik's race" years ago. a different company brought back the concept a short while back and called it "frame it". i have that too and it is cheaply made. the tiles fly off like crazy. i'd choose the original any day. the "frame it" is now just gathering dust on the shelf while rubik's race gets lots of use.
