@chipcoonrocks no, that is one thing it is not. it's not broken at all... maybe at first it was, maybe that's undeniable, but now they are better than ever, have you seen a live show recently? I mean, this was almost exactly a year ago, the first time they started playing new material post r+j (apart from new perspective) so it was probably difficult to adjust. but, now, they are SO happy on that stage. broken is one thing they will never be again :)

So I love Panic. I really do, dont get me wrong, but I loved Panic so much more in the Pretty. Odd days. And it makes me sad, because they never play alot of those songs anymore. But after I saw this, I understood why. I liked Vices and Virtues enough to go see them during that tour, but, Idk, its just something about Pretty.Odd, and Ryan and Jon. And I do like Dallon and Ian, but there is no way that they've replaced them. I mean technically, they did. But they could never replace them.

I'm torn, I honestly love Panic! no matter what. It's so emotional just watching, and listening to Northern Downpour. I grew up with Panic! With Brent, Ryan, Jon, Brendon, and Spencer. Then Ryan and Jon Left I was devastated. but Now I've come to love Dallon and Ian. It's still a bit much to wrap around the fact that Ian and Dallon have "replaced" Ryan and Jon. (and jon too) but those three were the original band members, panic at the disco was basically ryans band at the begining, it was his creative outlet, he created panic at the disco and made them famous. now i feel bad that he cant be a part of it anymore. oh well.

I'm sure you all know this, but they are all still friends but honestly the band started as their little thing. They all miss the old band's dynamic, but as Brendon has once said, "i want to move forward" and that is exactly what they're doing, and beautifully so if i may add. :) forever and always Panic!

@jbobsession123 of course, I will always be grateful to ryan and I will always miss him in a way, but panic is so much better and happier now. they were sort of trapped, in a way, by what he wanted to do most of the time (after P.O.) and he DEFINITELY took everything way too seriously when he was in the band. panic have so much fun onstage these days - they have so much chemistry and are all on the same page musically, so, I stand by my comment. I was devastated when R&J left, but I'm glad now

I personally think Brendon gets upset/emotional during this song because of the significance it has with Ryan and Jon. It was the last music video they were in. It was their last single together. Brendon has to sing Ryan's part in it now. And Brendon usually would forget words and Ryan would always jump in to help him out. That can't happen anymore. It really is alot for someone to handle, yes, even after two years.

Well, of course he misses Ryan and Jon, and I'm sure they miss him, but that was to be expected. They didn't break up because they didn't want to be in a band together, they broke up because they wanted to take the band in directions that were too different to compromise.
