We all know Syd was the true explorer of the further regions of experience. Mason comes across as a non-contributor in terms of music, lyrics and art.

As much as I like Floyd, Nick Mason is the antithesis of the rest of the band, all he does is show his multimillion dollar hobby instead of doing what Gilmour and Waters do, which is great music. We all know they are filthy rich, but with Mason is always about cars and more cars. Why doesn't the other members show their exorbitant life style? Not even the deceased R. Wright was like this. Could that be the reason he is not invited to play with the other members?
