...you didn't mention that 90% of that shit is over priced. i refuse to pay 30 bucks for a lanyard, 15 for nippers, zingers or hemos. I can cut through 100 pound mono with a fingernail clippers better than those so called wonder nips including retractable needle. a hook itself will clean out any gunk and junk just fine.

@redshaftedflicker You looked in the wrong place. I never paid over $2 for nippers, hemos or zingers. Usng a hook to clean out the eye hook willl definitely dull your hook. I've used nail clips for leaders/tippets before-they're fine, but it's sure more convenient having the eye cleaner on one tool. the less to carry the better. Other than that, I'd carry less than the one that made the film. No need to carry more than 2 spools of tippet- they tend tp get in the way
