I like using composted fish poop, composted bat poop, composted cotton plant, composted cow poop, bone meal, blood meal, lime, used coffee grounds, used green tea, and anything with potassium.
summer or winter? You can try "Jelly bean Hybrid" grape- type tomato it's made for container gardening. It's indeterminate which means it will produce fruit all summer long, just prune it to keep it compact in size. Good luck!
Well, I live in London, UK and we grow cherry tomato's sometimes in our garden and we NEVER get to 32 degree's. Usually 20-25 in the peak summer. And our cherry tomato's are just fine.
k i have a question i have two pairs each of early girl tomatoes and big boys and they've got flowers but wont start growing tomatoes my dad who is really old fashioned told me to hit it with a wire hanger a few times but im not sure can u please help
Just what I'm looking for!!! But my cherry tomato grew tall, but not 'bushy' enough (at least this time it's not dying unlike my first try). Sometimes I'm afraid of giving too much sunlight and heat. I'm planting it in a 1-1.5 liter of polybag, and it's about 1 feet now. What's your recommended size?
I have about 5 plants, producing more than i can consume, and i give the left overs to friends. I found that watering at about 6 at night with a sprinkle with not much water does it justice through the day. When it starts off in the day time in looks like its melting and droopy, but when watering time comes around its blooming. My plants are at about 1.5-2.5 foot. Sunlight is its friend, even though it makes it appear dying. My two cents anyway.
I am a cherry tomato, and I agree with how to grow me in this video!

How does a person grow cherry tomatoes without them cracking? Is it the variety or the weather that causes this?
Thanks

I think in this case, he meant 32F which is about 0C - too chilly for tomatoes, lol.
