@Themoreruler Simon Tong, who was in The Verve and later collaborated with Damon in Demon Days & Plastic Beach by Gorillaz and was also on the band/project The Good, The Bad & The Queen with Damon Albarn, Paul Simonon & Tony Allen.
i really really am looking for a torrent of this as well to burn to DVD. so anyone reading this who could create on and share that would be hugely appreciated.
Amazing. Does anyone know what gear they're using? Particularly that synth (not the microkorg, the psychotic sounding one), and how they're getting their guitar tones? Amps? Pedals?
I hope Blur only does a Reunion tour and then ends, because I don't want them to go on for much longer because then they might end up sucking over time like Metallica, Rush, Green Day, and Slipknot. But you never no I doubt that they will suck over time, because Damon is the most musical genious in this time period.
Yeah, I completely agree. Green Day especially. I gave up on them a long time ago. I don't even want to talk about fucking Metallica. The latest Slipknot was an utter disappointment for me. I think Corey brought too much Stone Sour with him to the studio.
I hope Blur doesn't get as stale as those klauses did.
Yeah but in all fairness to blur they are a hell of a lot more diverse and adaptive than the bands you mention. After think tank Blur can take it in any direction they want.
@Benjani7 I'm a blur fan since 1995. I ove their music. And there's a lot of people that say Think Tank is crap because Graham isn't on it. Graham is a geniuous... But Think Tank is a masterpiece!
Something aboat the Lyrics of this song is the sense of when you go under...when the pressure envelopes you, instead of running from ut...TAKE the CHANCE turn around and HUG IT instead. It is like going into a SAUNA. The SPIRIT is THICK, warm but there is a chilly breeze.
This is how I can explain how you learn to face fear is very much like the way you find a COOL but unusual friend, and this of the stock which is lasting.

I'm so glad Blur split up coz im not particularly a fan of them, but on the flip side of that...in my top five albums of all time I would name Think Tank (Blur), Demon Days (Gorillaz) and Love Travels At Illegal Speeds (Graham Coxon)
think tank rules since the selftitled album blur was the best band experimenting with different sounds in comparison to oasis that the only thing that they do is only britpop
I wish I could give this video a HUNDRED likes at once as it truly deserves!

Think Tank is perhaps one of the greatest albums ever made. And I don't think that is an overstatement.

Your right. Think Tank is indeed an inspired piece of work. maybe sometime in the future it will get the praise it deserves
augustusdes 2 years ago 5
I doubt it will. Only among fellow blur fans like ourselfs! Oh well, its kind of cool in a way that it wont

I agree, people don't like it because of Graham not being on it.. Which I think is bull

Think Tank is my favorite Blur album. I think another album without Graham would be just as good. I'm glad that klaus is back though.

look at Damon.
If you see some of the first concert videos, hes so full of hapiness and he looks like he's having a great time, so young.
Now look at him, you can tell he's been through a lot. He doesn't lok so full of life and happyness, he now looks so full of hope.
