  • There should be a celtic union.

  • @JesusDiedROFL Yeah it would be awesome if Ireland,Scotland, wales,Cornwall,Isle of man and brittany and Galacia entered an alliance where we would support each other financially and militarly.

  • gallic briton and irish in me

  • Im not sure you can claim the Picts are Germanic as no one knows where they came from. As for Celtic supporters.....not all of them are celtic. No all of them are Scots or irish.

  • ....and south Venets (Macedonians, Trachians, Dardanians, Dacians, Illirians, Troyans). Kelts-Venets as Anglosas call us called and still call themself Slovends or Slovenets like in Slovenia, Slovakia and Slavonia but fact is that these Kelts are separated by regions and common is that all Kelts-Venets have same origin, roots and race (blond-red haired with blue eyes, high IQ, strong condition, hard workers, farmers, winers, loggers, hunters, honey-mead makers,...opposite than nomads or arrivals

  • Kelts are present everywhere. When Roman empire with lead of Julius Cezarius destroyed more than 800 cities and enslaved Kelts-Slovends in 64 B.C. in Galicia (France), Venetia, Furlania, Lomabardia, Padovia, Istria, Dalmatia, Retia, Vindelicia (Italy, Slovenetia-Norik, Croatia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland) were separated in three ways Armoric Venets(Bretons,Brittania), Baltic Venets (Slovenets-Vends, Svends, Polaks, Belorussians, Luzician Serbs, Nordvends, Moravic Slovends, Bohemian Slovends,.

  • What about Galiza or Galicia?

  • The Scots are not Celts, they are Picts, only a small part of Scotland become Celt and they were Irish people who immigrated to the west of Scotland.

    Slán

    - Pádraig O'hÁinle

  • @MrJoshuaPadraig And when the Irish tribes in the west coast of Scotland joined with picts to defend themselves against the saxon they forged Scotland. The Picts adopted the celtic ways.

  • @computers734

Still not Celts they are Picts a Germanic race, a minority are probably from the Celtic race.

Now we have the Glasgow Irish the Celtic FC supporters they are Celts in Scotland.

  • @MrJoshuaPadraig

Picts, Germanic? What kind of mongol are you?

  • @1995Scotsman

Germanic Brythonic peoples, and the Germanic / Nordic Picts. The Picts came from Norway into Scotland via the Shetlands. They were of the same Black Sea ancestry as the Angles and Saxons.

    Mongol?

No I'm 100% Celt/Irish ethnicity. I speak Irish, I was baptized with Irish name.

I'm the fucking definition of a Celt.

  • @1995Scotsman If you search "The DNA of the Picts" there are some interesting links. They were native...

  • I love Newquay

  • :-) Cornwall doesn't get a lot of respect. This song makes me happy.

  • I like this song very much. Its not full with violence ;)

The Saxons mhhh do they mean all the Germans? :(

I am a strange mixture: My dad is German, Mum is a Geordie and grandad was a Scots. Can I proud to be??

  • im from glasgow and wish ireland well, but thats it. my full attention is for my countrys independence and the sooner the irish groups in Scotland realise that Irish independence is best served by helping scottish independence and that the unionists see Scotland is best run by Scots and not english who dont care for Scotland other than how much money they get from us or how many labour mps we send down, the better we will be as a nation.

  • potato POTATO Potato

  • OMFG! CELT IS NOT A RACE! You yank scum are retarded!

  • @segano1 they were treated like as badly as a many a race though ;)...celts is a word from keltoi...greeks describing the ppl of these isles before romans and the rest invaded

  • Don't forget the Iberian and Gallo celts in Spain and France respectively!

Well, sorry to the Scotts, but now the Brits have contol over them and those six counties up in Ulster. I have another fact: The tri-color flaf was given to IRELAND, as in the Island, NOT the country. So support a UNITED IRELAND!!! Erin Go Bragh!!!!

  • @3tangle3 LOL! He started stalking me all around Youtube leaving hateful posts all over the place to me. I finally blocked him from my channel and from posting to me at my own video up loads. He's a real nut case that one! LOL! Bad potty mouth. Even worse than my own and I can get as potty mouthed as the next person! I guess my political views bothered him. Not every one likes my politics. Oh well.

  • Scots = Picts

    Irish = Gaels

    Welsh = Brythons

    Kernow = Brythons

    English = Germanic

  • @segano1

    Well said!

  • england's original people were celtic...

  • @narbagepl0x If you mean the land that later became known as England then yes, but before that it was Britannia - an extended province of Rome which covered what's now part of Wales and all of England.

Scotland and Ireland were never controlled by Romans they were Roman free, the Romans called

    Scotland as "Caledonia"

    Ireland as "Hibernia"

    England & Wales as "Britannia".

  • The Celts were never a race...

  • @bjarkena yeah your point is? cultures are real....i have a black friend from trinidad and tobago...speakes welsh...he is welsh...what is your outdated racial point?

  • @3tangle3 if you you speak german does that mean your german!i think not! there aint any true black taffs impossible!!!

  • @carpediem407 you tell that to my mixed race friend......he speak better welsh than most and not like all the white ppl who cannot be bothered learning the old TRUE british language

  • @3tangle3 shame on his parents !mixed race or just confused!!

  • @carpediem407 you vile scum.,...hes more of a celt than you will ever be.....you talk like some facist hun

  • @3tangle3 fascist and proud ,hun i am not! breagha an-duigh A welsh man he will never be.

  • @3tangle3 patriot is the correct word!!! dilution of blood lines is unacceptable

  • @bjarkena certain celtic groups did have different alleles but mainly from first pre celtic settlers e.g. iberian origin ( i dont really care but as i do a post grad on the genetical history of brit isles I am forced to care ;) )

  • CYMRU!!!! KERNOW!!!! EIRE!!!! ALBA!!!!! TOGETHER!!!!!!

Owain Glyndwr, Boudicca, William Wallace, Llewellyn!!!!!

    Erin go Bragh!!!!!

Look out, England!!! We promised we'd come back - time for payback. BYE-BYE, NORMANs, SAXONS, and DANES!!!!! You never could conquer us, could you? You know what I half to say to you, England???

    KISS MY IRISH ARSE!!!!!!! :)

  • @celticbattleaxe AMEN TO THAT WE CELTS ARE THE ONLY TRUE INHABINTANTS OF THE British Isles

  • @Welshman2008 the welsh and cornish are the surviving remnants of the native brythonic culture......without these brythons they would be no name 'Briton' or Britain/Brittannia

  • @3tangle3 oh u learn something new everyday

  • @Welshman2008 lol, didnt mean to sound lecturing :) there is so many many more hidden facts than this

  • @3tangle3 you left out cumbria ,northumbria and scottish borders

  • @Welshman2008 Indeed!!!!

    Eirinn go bragh!!!

    Alba gu brach!!!

  • @celticbattleaxe Yeah we never conquered you, we conquered the world together <3

Honestly quit crying and learn to get along with your neighbors. You don't hear us gloating about how fucking pansy your people were when we penetrated your asses time and time again through the course of history

  • @Williamshatnerfag69 Hey, if they don't have a problem with me, I'm fine with it - they object, I defend what is rightfully mine. Don't EVER think that you can take away any man or woman's freedom, because then it will be my sword that stabs you up your ass, so shut up

  • @celticbattleaxe I never wanted to take your freedom away, I merely wanted to help you understand how you were conquered, contrary to what you stated.

You served the Empire well though :)

  • @Williamshatnerfag69 Dude, I never would and never did serve that empire. I hate to tell you, but we were never conquered. If that was true, the Irish and Scots (as well as the Welsh) would not exist as the last Celtic peoples of Albion.

  • @celticbattleaxe I'm absolutely positive you would never have served the empire, as it is not possible anymore except through military service.

With rising affluence in western culture comes rising concern for the individuality of nationalistic peoples. Of course the "Celtic nations" (Though England is genetically proven to be more Celtic than Germanic) have gained a semblance of independence in recent decades through the liberal democratic process, but - omg i'm running out of charactersto use

  • @Williamshatnerfag69 Well, the only time when the Scots did ( as well as the Irish) was during the World Wars and the 7 Years War. Did they like it? No.

  • @celticbattleaxe AND I'M SORRY FOR RAMBLING, BUT

Wales was annexed by England by the Laws in Wales Acts 1535–1542, which incorporated Wales into the English state.

  • @Williamshatnerfag69 "We've been rambling all the night, and some time of this day! Now returning, back again we bring you a garland gay!" - Loreena McKennitt

Wales may have been annexed, but its people do not acknowledge it. Heck, look at the video "As long as we beat the English" (Welsh rugby chant)

  • @celticbattleaxe I think you misunderstand me my celtic battle'axed friend. I'm not at all against Celtic nationality, I'm just against Celts who hate England

I understand if the English were bullies back in their day, but together we were the British Empire. The Single largest Empire the world has ever seen, all from small Island nations. That's something to be mighty proud of. It just irks me that so called "Modern celts" hate the English so much, when British diaspora never would have happem

  • @Williamshatnerfag69 happened without the Celts merger with the English into the British Empire. Without the English, it's possible that there wouldn't be any Scotts, Irish, or Welsh influence in the new world, and that would have been tragic

  • @Williamshatnerfag69 Well, if it makes you feel any better, I don't hate the English - I dislike their imperialism and disregard for others - not to say that all Englishmen/women are like that, but almost the ones I faced are. You are one of the few who is not. Earlier I thought you were referring to the Roman Empire, not the Brits. I apologize if I seemed so defensive - about half the people I "talk" to are trolls or ignorant SOBs. I hope that we can agree on this :)

  • @celticbattleaxe Oh come now! Trolls are the most entertaining part of youtube. Honestly I'd rather see the English/Celts as British rather than Celtic/Anglo saxon, as we were the most proficient race on earth united together as the British, and have only gone downhill since devolution (Further independence/separation from United Kingdom)

Also lol @ Roman Empire. I'm sure most "Englishmen" you speak to will assure you that they'd rather see the United Kingdom United rather than bickering

  • @Williamshatnerfag69 WOW - you would bring up the racist crap now

  • @celticbattleaxe lol u jellie?

  • @Williamshatnerfag69 What?...

  • @Williamshatnerfag69 Jeez - you really are wack

  • @celticbattleaxe im a ginger with green eyes but my celtic-ness is from france...can i be a celt too...

  • @narbagepl0x What part of France?

  • @celticbattleaxe i don't know. i think normandy but i am not sure...

  • @narbagepl0x Well, then the chances of you being a descendent of the Celts is high :). You are either descended from Gauls, or Pretans from Albion (maybe both :) ).

  • @celticbattleaxe well good. I thought i got my gingerness from some vikings. now tell me...are the britons and irish celts friends with the gauls?

  • @narbagepl0x Well, yes and no - some of the Pretans and Irish descended from Gauls, mainly the Belgae tribe from northern France (most northern part). The Belgae settled in southern Albion below the Thames, and when Gaul was near destruction, many refugees from Gaul (and some from Albion) fled to Ireland - it was the only territory to never be set-foot upon by Romans. Alba did, thanks to Agricola. He abandoned it soon, because the Picts were against him, and it cost money.

  • @narbagepl0x I say that the Pretans and Irish were not allies (at times) because the Celts, when they were not fighting off the Romans or the invading Germans, fought themselves; not necessarily tribe vs. tribe, but it happened.

  • @narbagepl0x The important thing to remember here, though, is that being descended from Celts doesn't make you a Celt; rather, having a Celtic spirit makes you a Celt. You need not be descended from them. I am, being a family member of the Dempsey and McClain clans from Ireland and the Gordon Highlanders of Scotland - but where my "inner-Celt" truly lies is in my spirit. Their voices ring through my veins, but it kindles like the Beltane bonfires in my soul.

  • @celticbattleaxe remember most english have brythonic/godeilic celt ancestry.....they were just brainwashed.......education and truth of the progressive ways will win the day

  • @3tangle3 Most? I'm pretty sure that aver half of the population are Saxon/Danish/Norse/Norman descendents.

    I hope you're right.

  • @celticbattleaxe most english have 80-95% older ancestries....mostly older than even supposed celtic era...this is the hypocrisy of england

  • @3tangle3 That's strange. I've got to research it more. But still, they have the $!ttiest attitudes about other nations of all.

  • @celticbattleaxe ignorance is bliss mate.......if you are english and ignorant of history.....all you see is your ancestors having a world empire....non of this older stuff....trust lol

  • @3tangle3 I see my ancestors as respectable and spiritual people who would not give in to imperialism by the Romans, Saxons, and later, the Normans. I see the English as a people who, as a whole, oppose independence. America learned this during the Revolution (and War of 1812), and both Scotland and Ireland learned this as they resisted English rule of tyranny; from O'Neill to Montrose, they stood up for one thing, their most valuable possession - their freedom. Nothing more, nothing less.

  • @3tangle3 I say that the English have the $h!ttiest attitudes because they still act as pompous "gentlemen", and everyone living in the US is a "yank". Now, are all of them like that? Definitely not, but a lot are. And you, a descendent of Celts as am I, should give a damn of what your ancestors fought for, and I REFUSE to be a part of a snobbish collection of morons who think that everyone else in the world is inferior to them.

Where the heck are you coming from?

  • @celticbattleaxe english are saxons ur right i dnt know where 3tangle3 gets this fact tht english are celts from if thts wht he is trying to say haha makes no diffrence anyway english are still pricks lol irish, welsh, scots and so on we all get along fine but me personally i hate england i hate the fact tht they exist i wish they wud become exctinct.

  • @cymroocymru Well, not even the Welsh can be considered as 100% Celtic ancestry. They had a lot of Roman influence. Scotland had little, Ireland had none, but wars with the English have left scars on every one of these countries. If the English think that we will forget it, they are WRONG. There is no highland Scot nor Irishman who likes the English as a whole - not to say that all the English are "bad" (I have friends in England - Sanderstead), but overall they are still pompous imperialists.

  • @celticbattleaxe ye i agree and of course what they have done to us (irish, welsh, scots) of course we wont forget no way history is powerful even tho it happened along time ago of course we wont forget they banned the welsh language before it wasnt allowed to be spoke but its spoken alot nowa days which is good shudnt let them keep us down which they wont anyway

  • @cymroocymru Agreed. I only know of a few English people who aren't such pompous morons. One lives in the same town as I. Even they admit that England was too much of an imperialistic country. It was bad enough when the Saxons took over and drove the Pretans into past the Severn. The Normans made it worse.

  • @celticbattleaxe well eadliest there are some that are al right i suppose but its rare to meet an english person and think he was alright very rare.

  • @cymroocymru True - I know of about 3.

  • @celticbattleaxe

It's not about blood anymore, it's about where your loyalties lie. . I have a Norman name, but I am no less Irish than any O'Neill or O'Brien. I have a passion for learning and speaking Irish, because I see that promoting and preserving our language and culture is far more important than dwelling on who is "more Celtic" than the other. Any person proud of being Celtic should be learning their respective language, and speaking it instead of speaking an teanga ár naimhde.

  • @IamDaReAlSeaN True, but it was the Normans who (no offense) wrecked the British Isles. I am not directly criticizing you in the least. I too am learning the Celtic languages (Cymry and Gailege right now). Sorry if I seem to "more Celtic..." - I understand what you mean and I respect it highly. My ancestors were Scottish, Irish, and Welsh. I believe in their Old Religion, and I study them as often as I can. I was stating historical issues earlier.

    Live life with compassion

    Eirinn go bragh!!

  • @celticbattleaxe

Tuigim, obair deas mo chara, ná bí ag laibhairt Béarla, is teanga gránna agus uafásach é :L

  • @IamDaReAlSeaN AGREED!!! Irish is the best language in the world - attempting to learn the Munster Old Irish dialect (similar to the Welsh dialect of the old kingdom Dyfed). Look up 'Enya Ebudae' - anyone who thinks after listening to it that Irish isn't the best, they're crazy.

    Heddwch!!

  • @celticbattleaxe

I'm learning Gaeilg' Acla, which is the native dialect of Achill Island, because of the amount of time I spend with family there. I tell ya, learn a modern dialect, Old Irish is like gibberish for second-language speakers like me and many gaeilgeóirí alike, it's like an English speaker trying to understand Saxon. Manx has the most Old Irish influences than all of the other Goidelic Celtic languages.

  • @IamDaReAlSeaN Wow!! Good for you! I'm learning the Munster dialect of Irish Gaelic. After becoming fluent in the Munster dialect, I'd love to learn Manx.

  • come cousins and gather, view my celtic page for everythiong celtic :-)

  • a happy new year to all my celtic brothers, flwyddyn newydd dda, eirean go bragh, scotland forever, kernow am byth and to all manx people.

  • yes and get the pakis out of ireland as well lol

  • we re CELTTSSS!!!!!

  • Long live Ireland! Long live the celts! UNITY of and for all Celtic nations and peoples!!!

  • THIS SONG MAKES ME FEEL SO PROUD TO BE IRISH !!!!!

    THIS IS REAL MUSIC !!!!

LONG LIVE IRELAND AND ALL ITS BROTHERS !!!!

  • Not free yet...

  • Six nations indeed!! I am Scottish, Welsh, as well as Irish, and I am proud to be all three. Such an alliance it is - which reminds me. Look at the video 'Celtic Alliance' by some guy called 'saspir'. THAT, my friends, is what I'd love to do to the English.

  • the greedy english are greedy just as the americans are but 1 day there greed will be there enemy an come back to haunt them

  • the greedy english are greedy just as the americans are but 1 day there greed will be there enemy an come back to haunt them

  • you english cunt killing 1400 cornish people 500yr ago just cause we speak cornish not shit english cornwool we rasie again

  • @johndan18 Calling English people "cunts" Because 500 years ago an army who just happened to be from the same country drove out your culture is idiotic.

And before you call me and "English prick", I'm Scottish.

  • @hazzystan

An army who were our ancestors.

  • I love this tune, extremly viral

  • This song's original title is "Brian Boru" who was an Old Irish king and

    faught against the vikings...

  • WALES FOREVER .LOL !!

  • i think we should all be pals now but byjayzuz ye cant tame that burning inside when ye here our music!

  • this song gives me chills.

  • and the galicians

  • ... and now the rule of central euro government to conted with, the plan is to flood us with immigrants to water us down more, theres no end to shit we have to put up with, goodbye celtis nations :(

  • I read that many English are related to the celts, as oppose to anglo-saxons. It seems they cluster more so around the belgian tribes or eastern gauls, and were infact 'invaders' back then. If this is true, and Irish DNA does not differe from English or Scottish then wtf is the sense of disunity? Maybe changing the government around, significantly. We could think of something. But if thats wrong then Who the hell knows.

  • @seamuspowers Actually compared to people living in say...Wales to people who live in England the DNA is actually very different. And I don't think it's the DNA that trouble us, the what the country as a whole did.

  • @emROARS Not really

  • And yet they speak English.. It would have been nice if they spoke Gaelic, or another Celtic tongue.

Still, it's a good song. Freedom for the Celts!

  • Fuck America?

Also fck the protestants from Scotland and Northern Ireland, they've been brainwashed by the English!

    Free Scotland and Ireland.

  • @flemingdfc Why fuck America, I'm American and I consider myself Celtic okay. Not perhaps the old kind but the knew celts for sure. An to hell with you if you disagree. You are not the god so of the Earth, Fire, Water or Air.

  • @hannigan06 I think the more of us the better mate, if you have celtic heritage then be proud of it and screw anyone who says anything bad about our irish american cousins

  • @hannigan06 Term Hibernian sounds better. When a Nothern Irish calls you 'plastic' just call him a plastic Englishman. Most English shit on them anyway. I am an Anglo-Irish American. I dont hate all Brits or Irish, I think this 'old' stuff is of the past. It isnt our problem anymore, and it could be sovled simply. I blame the government, fuck Labour, those commie heathens.

  • @flemingdfc Funny, I find that its the Welsh and Scottish Communist who run Britain the biggest issue. It seems the majority of immigtation to UK and Ireland poors into England and Ireland. Not anywhere else. But I dont blame individuals, I blame the traitors in power and the Normans who took over the British Islands, they fucked everything up 800 years ago.

  • @seamuspowers Away you go yi dirty bastard.

  • A beautiful song,I listen to it every day,it makes me feel proud. Thanks for the upload, from a Scots Rangers fan.Peace!

  • Great music! Greetings from Serbia! Although it may not seem so, we have many things in common. Long live free Scotland! Kosovo is Serbia, and north Ireland is Ireland!

  • @stefannikolicns Your right, we are similar, the muslims are In the UK and Ireland and doing as they have doen to you, take take take and enfroce their primitive ways upon us. Im an American, I support Serbia and their effort to free themselves from Islamification. Im sorry America and Britain betrayed you, dont blame the people blame the basterd heathens in power.

  • I love Celtic music, I'm canadian, and in no way celtic, but I wish there was more culture like this around.

  • @zeroman186 Nova scotia :D

  • F.W.A . Free celts !!!!! cymru am byth !!!!

  • Long live the celtic nations!

    Long live my celtic brothers!

  • @TheScottishRocker Amen, mo dhearthair! Let's work to preserve our Celtic heritage! Up with all Celtic peoples, from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Brittany to the ends of the earth!

  • @EvilIrishNinjaPirate And from the mountains high to the tip of the sky. Our culture has survived the test of time and stood in the face of cruel oppression & tyrants that wanted to see its disappearance, NEVER!

    Erin Go Brah.

  • This song is SO good.

  • /watch?v=VdPEvJ4Ax4E

  • Great song!!

    Saor Alba

  • Long live the Celt Nation and its beautiful culture.

  • beautiful people and wonderful music too my friend!

  • Ask yourself a question, does any nation in Europe actually like the English? Their time will come make no mistake. And so will their American friends. BANG>

  • Pshhh. You have not a clue about what us "American friends" have in heart for those inbred bastards. No really.

  • hahaha whats the second most dangerous thing in an world ? A Irishman lolol what's the first most dangerous thing in the world? lol a Irishman with a gun from any religion lol so beware who you call inbred lol

  • Damn straight.

  • @kipstrange not a person likes the english

  • @winka1000: Funny... why do so many people want to come here then? We're the most overpopulated country in Europe, and more folks just keep coming.

  • I am an American...but both my parents are immigrants from Ireland. I wish everyday that they hadnt come to this country. I hate being American and I can't wait until I am able to move back to Ireland. I would be the first to tell you that Americans suck and they will get whats coming to them soon enough.

  • Comment removed

  • I am not saying anything about you as a person so dont take what I am saying personally. When you really think about it none of us are American. We all came from somewhere. I came from Ireland and thats where my pride is. One of America's problems is that we have people who think that the U.S. is the best country in the world and the truth is its not. you wanna know your history? Read the United States of Europe and you will think twice before saying how great America is cuz the truth is its not

  • @xoxluvu4evrxox

You've a right to your opinion, but My Granda brought my Dad and uncles here for a better life and thats what they got.

So if it's off to Ireland ya want then go. But remember yer Plastic Paddy now.

  • yes I realize that I have not lived in Ireland for years but to say I have no ancestral connection to Ireland is a lie. My family are all full blooded Irishmen so I'm pretty sure I'm not just some wannabe American trying to pass off as Irish.

My mother and father too left Ireland looking for a better life. they have repeatedly told me that life in Ireland is hard. Unlike them I am willng to endure the hardships and move back there and make a life for myself.

  • @xoxluvu4evrxox good im glad your leaving when your old enough. we would be a stronger country without people like you. My grandparents came from Ireland for opportunity and it accepted them with open arms and let them make something of themselves.
