Great rendering. I'd maybe look to a reference on terminator armor posture from looking at the miniatures and the game dawn of war 2. Relic entertainment does great warhammer games. Good stuff bro.
i agree with carbonbw's comment about the legs being spread a bit far, in addition id like to add that the legs struck me as being a bit small for a terminators body and seemed disproportionate. perhaps increasing the bulk of the legs from the thighs down would help centre the gravity of the legs and give it a more proportioned look. aside from that i must say it was very well done, i liked the textures and lighting and it was clearely a well thought out piece of work, well done!
great details ;) but that guy is too fast...Terminators are incredibly big and heavy, so you should move them in a way that gives the sense of "immensity". However it's just a suggestion, I appreciate what u are doing, and I'm also going to do an animation with real footage and CG Space Marines :))
its ok, but space marines are known for a particularly long stride, terminators are very fast, faster than you would think for something so big, the stride is more like someon doing the triple jump, the last 3 steps of the triple jump is a space marines run, the walk would be somewhat normal it looks... tbh... like hes pooped his pants and trying not to feel it, i would close the gap between the feet (to a shoulders width) shorten the stride for walking at that speed, or make it like a jog.
that looks really sick, but can i suggest that when the right foot goes forward the left arm does and likewise. it looks a bit off. terminators always have wide set stances tho. also give the cables on the back of the weapons textures. otherwise i love it cant wait for the final
@WookieHunt3r Agreed, with walk cycles you should normally have the arms and legs offset, i.e Right hand back when right foot is forward.. Left hand back when left left foot is forward. I'd highly recommend the book "The Animators Survival Kit" its a fantastic book. Other than the walk cycle, the modeling/rigging/texturing look great
You may be right about that, I will try changing the stride-width when animating for the film. I also noticed that he is quite an ambler so changing the timeing of the armswing should make it look better I think
Terminators = Enemy's inevitable doom.

Oh my god - he's tick tocking! Left arm and left leg swing at the same time then the right side - not very natural.

Just thought I'd send a message saying that if you need any help with textures etc I'd be more than happy to help. Oh and I model too :3

It lacks the bounce of a human step.

I think you should move his center of gravity forward more, it looks like his torso is behind his legs.

this is awesome! really think you guys did an outstanding job, but i agree with wookiehunt3r, you should change the arm and leg thing if possible

It might help to have the right arm more steadily aiming forward.

I think the legs are too far apart, while the battle stances of the models need to be somewhat crouched, I doubt the y would walks like that.
