Praise the NATO forces :D

  • great vid, but just to let you know, that the remains of the hercules pictured at 02:12 on the timeline, was actually of RAF Lyneham's 47 SQN 'K' hercules no XV179 which was shot down over Iraq, Not Afghanistan in January 2005.

  • Your video on the crew of XV179 is very moving and a credit to you. The 'K' wreckage at 02:12 is actually XV206 which hit a anti tank mine on the 24th May 2006 near Lashkar Gar, Afghanistan.

  • Yet another ungratefull person who would rather live in a cave. Without the British Empire the majority of the world would still be undeveloped. The Industrial Revolution made the world what it is today.

If you wish to harp on about world domination look at America and China! China has more trade companies in Central Africa than Britain ever had.

Shame the Germans still have a grudge against the Allies.

  • very true comments, some people do not understand what the British Empire did for the world, ignorant peeps think that it was just an invasion wheras in reality it made these countrys more economically developed and still gives them support today.

  • Tosser :| England set the scene for every nation today :| America thanks to English Forces, Chine again thanks to the English, India thanks to the English :S Name one succesful Nation without the English Occupation or involvement :D

  • eather waqy guys we should respect one and other and quit all this war cus basicly its not getting anybody anywere apart ruining other peoples livly hood and lives

  • invaders? fuck off to guantanamo with the rest of the animals who want to rage war on innocent people. fucking freak!!!

  • Per Ardua, we will remember them, and think of those out there serving now

  • The musics in we were soldiers as well, although no bagpipes. The song for the film was called flying high if that helps

  • god bless

  • Brilliant video! put it on myspace, i want that on my profile! top notch photos!

  • what is the music?

  • great to see a tribute to the air arm of the afghanistan war well done very touching

  • Good to see a tribute to the brave servicemen who have given there lifes & those who are still out there. Top film.

  • Thanks for putting together this memorial of the fallen Brits in Afghanistan.

Historicaly speaking Brits know, the anthropology of the Indo-Pak tribal system. They know Baluchs were pleased by getting a piece of barren land and title Sardar, Panjabis made good peasants,Moderate Sindhis never gave any hassle due to their soft nature.

  • Pathan's remained exception, as after 99 times of friendly mastimela, expect a hard kick on the butt.

They have built in revolt and unpredictability in nature. You can't mess with them, would you ?

  • Great tribute.

  • about time someone places a meaningful tribute to the servicemen on conflicts around the world on youtube :) i praise you for sharing your pictures and contructing a great video 5 stars my friend

  • Very well done Danny old chap, most fitting.

  • a great and touching tribute.
