@iAmWillJ91 this is the stupidest thing i've read in a long time. listen, children do not have their minds formed. it's not like you'll clean the house and they'll follow your back doing the same. it takes some time and PATIENCE. so be human and teach them fondly, not expecting them to act like machines. plus you have to make them understand why you do it. :)

When I watched it I thought - he's being taught to do that - ok - acting but he was being paid - or rather his parents being paid to do that - bit ironic when they send a message of dont do so they don't copy but this kid/parents were paid to make this - he was shown how to do and will later in years show his friends how good he was at doing it.... bit weird - you are right.

When I heard my 2 year old daughter shout "NO daddy!, stop screaming!" at him when he was raging at me the other day, something inside me changed forever. My little girl has lost a part of her innocence because I allowed him back into this house like a fool. May god forgive us all.
Just to notify anyone... all these were actors so don't think they are actually like what they depicted in the video in real life. This is a strong message.

1. If these adults would express their anger about issues that REALLY matter to them, they would lose the need to be expressing it continually and to the insane degree depicted in this video, and
2. If children ARE allowed to express themselves consistently, they WILL NOT show the kind of aberated behavior shown in this video.
This implies, however, that we shouldn't get angry (in front of children), whereas Alice Miller's research has uncovered that the kind of traumas that create such behavior have everything to do with supressing anger.
The authoritarian approach is "be positive", but at the expense of justifiable negativity this only creates trauma.

While I'm glad you've led a sheltered life, I'm sorry you don't realize how common this is.
This ad is not true: I used to see my Mom put cats in the microwave oven all the time, and I've never done that. I cut the tails off of dogs, so I'm nothing like her.
