Matt is a very talented guy. He should have gone further. I actually thought it might come down to him and Adam. I thought this cover was a real bright spot during the season. People beat on it but come on he's covering MJ. When he gets into his upper/falsetto range he really does sound exceptional.

Adam, the "screamer" can't sing (however, he is a candidate for burlesque). Allison needs a decongestant she sounds so warbled all the time. Gokey oversings everything and is out of tune. Kris is a weak singer. Paula is an admitted addict, and the others are high on something with their retarded critiques. All hype. Overrated, talentless singers.

It's sounds better because it is better and liking something is preference, I love the classic sound of Michael Jackson, but Matt Giraud will be a great recording artist. I also think he adds something fresh to the arrancgment of the song.
