I have 27 Cassettes and two MSX machines from my dad. I had grown up by playing these games. One unique game that i had with myself is OXRAID, that is no where available even on emulators.

OMG!!! This game looks like crap! I just played Raw vs. Smackdown and it looks better than this crap! A lot beeter! I lolled so hard @ the graphics in this game. Who makes games that looks so crappy when they can make something that looks like Smackdown vs. Raw??? You idiots who like this shit should try Smackdown vs. Raw! You'll like it! It looks a lot more real than this. Only a fucking tool would play this!

This game is the easiest game I ever played. I remember finishing it the day I bought it, on my first try. I was seven at the time.

Because it was so easy the next time I played it I was looking at the screen via a mirror. It was boring. I finished it right away, without dying one single time.

Yeah, I did the same, but the third time I played, I quit my glasses, then not becoming funny at all, I played the fourth time with the mirror, without my glasses and playing the keys with the tip of my pennis. Then the games starts to be funny. I was then 5 years old.

This rom made me buy an msx Canon v-20, from france. Nothing could beat such 8-bit at this time.

I remember a friend of mine had MSX1, and Konami had so many great titles in that year, Yier Kung Fu, Knightmare, Penguin adventure, Nemesis. But when i played this game back in 1989, I was blown by it, because the music and the sound effects way ahead of its time. because in that time I had the atari 130XE, and when I saw this, I was like wow, this is way better than atari, and I was so jealous. so I ended up getting MSX 2

Though I really love this game and i's style, the sequel is much better.

it's called Maze of Galious and, though being called Knightmare 2, is a very different game using the same character. More of an platform adventure game, but just awesome.

The third "knightmare" was more like a real top down RPG. Never played it much though.

Anyway: this kicks ass! :D

the game you're talking about is The Maze Of galious, this one is not a shmup, but a plat-form game, two different version were released, one on the msx, one on the famicom, I was planning to do videos of the msx version :]

there is also a third sequel, named shalom on the msx, don't know if it has been released anywhere else than on msx, but it was a japanese RPG, maybe someone has translated it.
