This si my PhD: In the JUrassic therer was 0.0004% CO2, but 10% more O2, and 60% more life. Now there si only 0.00037% CO2 in the air: Which through history trails natural cliamte swings, which folow solar cycles.
Sure the have always been natural swings in the climate butt he current changes cannot be explained by natural causes. no natural cause has been identified. There is no climatological theory in which CO2 does not drive temperature. And natural cycle precedents do not exhibit the same extreme changes we're now witnessing.
You misunderstand. Burning fossil fuels releases greenhouse gases which collectively warm the overall temp of the earth's atmosphere, which in turn causes 'climate change' - more extreme weather. The problem is not warming but the effect is changes in weather patterns as you have identified in the UK. But in many other places we're seeing increasingly hot weather, droughts, hurricanes , floods etc.
There was more CO2 in the air in the late JUraswsic, whe ntehre was 60% more life on Earth, and sea levles were 65 meters lower. We should all get power from molecular nuclear fusion, no CO2, or toxic death! A water fall does MNF, as do breaking waves, and a steam engine. Advise: Get educated about sceince. Not nuclear power fiction.

Plants take in CO2 to support life on Earth. So Greenpeace are against life, and frop nuclear power! Since when?

Jonthm: The issue is *TOO MUCH* CO2. Do your homework, mate.
