@gsamahh Shaving was haram during the prophets time only because the Kuffars used to shave (the pagans) yet now many Kuffars have a beard hence there no longer any point. It was a rule of the time i believe.

@gsamahh Hmmmm well i see sooo many Kuffars that sport an awesome beard. Devil worshippers, Drug filled rock stars, Jews and Sikhs all have beards. There is no way you can tell a person is Muslim because they have a beard anymore, thats why i think it was for the Prophets period but Allah knows best.

even in the time of the Prophete (alayhi salaam). The solution wasn't to shave, the Prophete (alayhi salaam) said that Muslim grow their beard and trim their mustache. This is how Muslims are different from the kuffars: trim your mustache.

Plus, the men who shave, they look like women... ;) and the majority of kuffars shave it.

@gsamahh hahaha i like the beard, but sometimes for work, we cant have a beard? Its livelihood and i think Allah accepts such sacrifices, its nothing to offend but it is for a living, not for sin.

@gsamahh If we live in a western country and a job requires a clean shaven face i have to do it. Not because i do it for sin, but well i am not in a Muslim country. I do it for livelihood. As for the beard, i always place the Quran above the hadiths, there is nothing in the Quran instructing this nor is there punishment prescribed.

i used to have a moustache, soul patch and goatee like johny depp has but my girlfriend didn't like the feeling of it when we kissed so now i only have the chin beard

Some guys look better with a beard, others with a moustache and other clean-shaven.

You are a handsome man so look good in all ways. The beard or just the moustache suit you very well.

Suggestions for you :

- in winter : rather long hair or long +beard

- in spring & autumn: rather long hair + moustache

- in summer : clean-shaven + short high and tight.

To me, nothing is sexier than clean-shaven. It looks cleaner and shows off a guy's facial features and bone structure better. A bit of a beard or goatee is ok, but I hate mustaches! But you're still cute either way though ;)
