They often go too far and they are often disrespectful, in fact I was linked this and do not even like watching this show except for the occassional laugh.

If you'd read what I actually said instead of straw manning me, I was referring to the act of laughing and agreeing with them when they make fun of something (Muslims, Jews), but then getting offended when you get your religion ridiculed.

In any case, nothing and noone is strictly above friendly ridicule. This sort of rubbish attitude is exactly what Muslim extremists use against Mohammed cartoons.

Their stunts are of course "crossing the line". And it would certainly be idiotic for a random person to try and imitate them purely for his own amusement. But this is The Chaser, professional comedians, whose stuns involve offending, annoying or otherwise disturbing innocent people. Not for the sake of offending, but for entertainment of the viewers. Doing it in a church is hardly worse than a bus or restaurant. It's all comedy that crosses the line.
