Wish they kept the charm of the first movie. It was simple, the music was ingenious and Brendan and Rachel made us fall in love with them.

As much as I hate whenever they recast someone, I'd have to say Maria was decent, but I still wish Evie was played by Rachel.
Just like I hated when they re-casted Katie Holmes with Maggie in TDK.
And I just read that in both movies that the new characters portrayed STRONGER characters, I guess being a damsel in distress is not Hollywood's fave anymore.

The role of Evee so belongs to Rachel Weisz! Kept imagining her instead of Maria in the movie. It would have been so much better if she was in it!

That's what I don't get. I saw them in several interviews and they look so funny and charming together. I can't understand for the life of me why they had no chemistry in the movie?

I totally agree. I loved their :60 seconds interviews - thought they were funny and had great chemistry, but didn't see an ounce of it in the movie itself. NONE - NADA - AT ALL!!!
