I love civil war reenactments, I'm starting reenacting in summer, I'll probably be a bugler in the 11th NC troops for another year then switch to the line.

When I used to live in North Carolina there would be a ceremony on Confederate Memorial Day at Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh. After that reenactors would march to the capitol. Does this still take place?

36th Virginia Company A myself, and I gota hand it to u, whoever did this video did one hell of a job, I could see this being a great recruiting video, really sparks a lot of interest from a fellow reenactor, hopefully it does the same for someone interested in the hobby. The 26th NC was a hell of an outfit. There charge on McPherson Ridge during Gettysburg helped push the Union line into collapse. They went toe to toe with the best the Union had to offer(Iron Brigade) and won the day.
