please, how far from UNION to MILTON ?please, how far from UNION to HAMILTON ?please, how far from UNION to GEORGETOWN ?WHAT THE SPEED OF THIS TRAINS PLS ?
To get from Union Station to Appleby you would board a west-bound train on the Lakeshore West line. As of now, that would cost $8.10 for a one-way adult ride. It would take 45-51 minutes depending on what time of day.
no there are not. You can barely get enough public support to build a subway underground in Toronto anymore, let alone an underground commuter train station.
Toronto would be chaotic to get around without the subway ! you see what happens during a TTC strike or a construction project that causes a delay in the subway where shuttle buses are needed ! it's insane ! ! ! ! !
go train kicks ass. i have relatives that live close to the longbranch station. id say its the best way to get downtown from there. about 15-20 min ride. fast.... it also kicks ass cause the lakeshore likes run 7 days a week all day. its also sweet hearing them zip by when the have the bell going when they back into t
Goddamn i have so many memories there eh ..... I took it from Oakville to Union for 2 years. and i saw some ppl having sex in the washroom .... and soo drunk..... and smoke pot too.. lmao..i used to live in oakville .. go train open service from 5 morning till 130 AM ...eh and no one check ticket for go train.. no one caught me for NO TICKET lmao
Can anyone explain the logic of having that most irritating bell? It's not as if the train is going to sneak up on you and say "boo" without it. You'd deserve a Darwin award if you got hit by one of them without the bell.
I was replying to another comment on another page and it screwed up and put it on the first page, actually I live in Pickering Ontario and I ride the Go Train all the time to union station, sorry about that!
Actually after having a second look, it is a real bell. I guess the audio threw me off. The refurbed cab cars of GO Transit's fleet have electronic bells.
0:10 : oh damn it, i missed my train!

hoodfan96 2 years ago
The name of the train car is Series 4; that is not a count of the amount of cars.
dyip90 2 years ago
hoodfan96 has a point dude, the way you wrote your video description makes it sound like it's a 4 car train !

Are there any underground stations on the GO Train? I never had the chance to go around Toronto with the GO Train.

no there are not. You can barely get enough public support to build a subway underground in Toronto anymore, let alone an underground commuter train station.

This bell is like an Amtrak AEM7
alx2925 4 years ago
Also Identical to the newer Locomotives like the SD70Ace and ES44AC/DC.
andrewkim110 4 years ago
Yep, a lot of trains now these days have the new electronic bell

Actually it's no different. It was GO Transit that designed the famous bi-level coaches. That's a good quarter of a century legacy.

So I guess that big white metal bell-shaped thing on the top of the cab car with the pneumatic hammer in it is... what.. a radio antenna?
