JOHN GOODMAN is one of the best tv characters ever created.
but i can't agree with "Mi55ery." he sings sharp and his phonetics are muddy.
JOHN POPPER, on the other hand, is a vocal genius. he's dead on at all times and his articulation flawless...even on "Hook," which is almost impossibly fast paced. his tone, while not suited for the met, :-) is fantastic for this genre. great voice, great harmonica, great band.
and besides that, i like to watch desperate housewifes and some other new series from the us too but they often seem to be twenty years older than roseanne because of extremely conservative views wich first surprised me as i when i was a kid used to watch roseanne and it was the first us show i knew. that made me think they had a similar morality in many ways
When the blues traveller sings the song thats starts off w/ "Oh once upon a Midnight Deary" is that a real song? and does it have a name? If ANYONE can answer this please tell me,
@CrashBandicootNo1 It's called Run Around. Also, anytime you don't know what a song is called, you can just type into google the lyrics that you know with the word "lyrics" in the query.
Lol. It's a TV show. The age may not make sense, but I don't think they were ever trying to portray the band as Blues Traveler. That's why they didn't call him Popper, he was Stingray Wilson... In reality, no. It couldn't have happened... but IT'S A SHOW.
Yes, Yes I am. That and I came back to respond to something someone said to me in response to a comment I made a year ago so I felt the need to drag other people back with me.
John Goodman is awesome...almost all of the little songs and such they've done, he wrote. The song on the Halloween episode where they're the ventriloquist and dummy, he wrote.
If you didn't see John on "The Muppet Show", (the one that came on in the mid-90's), he was really good. He did Joe Cocker's "Feeling Alright". If I remember, it was after this episode that he then joined Dan Akroyd in "The Blues Brothers", when John temporarily left the show.
its called the hook...and the part we hear after the credits actually starts halfway thru the song so its hard to tell at the beginning of the song. so dont listen to this fcking idiot trying to say its called sweet home chicago.
Actually here is the thing, you didn't specify which song you were talking about at all until you decided to be insulting. What Conkerpucci13 said was the song that Dan sang when he went up was Sweet Home Chicago. Which it is, they did not say that was the song John Popper sang. However, my question to you is, why did you ask what song it was if you already knew the answer or intended to look it up elsewhere?
and my question to you is wtf ever happened to mind your own fucking business. and next time you do decided to butt into ppls conversations make sure it was recent..that shit was 2 weeks ago. damn.
okay you must be a complete fucking idiot. IT IS CALLED THE HOOK!!!! so dont sit there and act like you fucking know everything when i never even specified what song i was talking about....and for your FYI you stupid cunt i was talking about the HOOK! so lay off it already gah dumass
song Dan Conner/John Goodman that he sings is called Sweet Home Chicago... why do you think he says it... not to mention the real song is from the blues brothers... god damn... and i know everything because you can tell!
and if your slutty ass still doesnt believe me then read the fucking conversation that me and TarlaTorres6012 have been having the whole time you have been sitting here acting like a hardass with the keyboard. so stop trying to act like you know everything
What song did he sing in the end?

In Season 9 Blue's Traveler does lyrics over Roseanne's intro theme. Anyone know if she's got some sort of personal relationship with the band?

@godzillaqueen I think she's just a big fan and since she's famous, she has connections that allowed her to become friends with John Popper

Popper is around 27 years old here. Roseanne and John Goodman are in their 40's.
There's no way he was performing with Dan 15 years ago when he was 12. :)
