I was stationed at Naval Air Station Miramar in the spring of 1977 when I heard this. Apparently there were grounds to the suit, which seemed to have been settled without much drama compared to other such suits. Remember the big suit between Jeffrey Katzenberg and Disney? Now that's another story! :)

One day he's in the shop where she works, stops a robbery, and is killed in the process. It didn't get good reviews and lost a lot of money. There was also a 1989 movie by the same name, about a fictitious 1960s girl group who had My Boyfriend's back as their only hit, who regroup 20 years later for a TV special.
