  • MOVING ONE FILE AT A TIME IS TEDIOUS AND BORING.

  • Moving files in SkyDrive should be the same as moving e-mail's to new folders in Hotmail. Using SkyDrive for the first time today and I thought Sky Drive didn't allow users to move files around, until I saw this video looking for "how to" info.

  • Has anyone figured out how to move a file from the root SkyDrive to a folder? Or perhaps how to have a newly created file in the cloud saved to a folder instead of to the root?

  • So if I have 50 files I want to move - how to select them all ?

  • Thanks for going back to calling it SkyDrive. Miscrosoft does listen!

  • This does not work for files in the root Skydrive, it only works on sub directories. The "move" link does not appear if the file is not in a sub directory

  • This does not work.

  • I want to move more than one file each time. :s

  • Thank you!! Hahaha I had just that question and you answerd it =)

  • Nice tip :)

  • Echo what einglug said. That there even needs to be a video made says that it's fundamentally flawed and confusing to a lot of people.

It is all very pretty now, but it's not conducive to productivity.

  • That "move file dialogue" is still from the old SkyDrive version, right? It works quite slow for me, not so fast as the rest of the new SkyDrive. Any chance that this will get overworked?

  • If you need to compile a video, then obviously its counter intuitive and needs more work. Also there is no way to move folders.

  • @eingoluq Totally agree with you. This is just to explain how to do it until we make it better. :)

  • @windowslive okie dokie!

  • @windowslive I want to move multiple files at the same time, not only one!
