But other than that 2 seconds of halo 2, you're practically correct. And plus, he didnt go through mutations for his large body size as for he was born a "mutant"/super soldier, which made him better created for the armor. Bungie didnt want to put the face in because of the point that the face doesnt matter..

Yes basically bound items are created allready equipped when the spell is used. When the spell ends the item is removed from your inventory. So if you have managed to drop the item before the spell ends by any means it will not be in your inventory at the time of the removal and thus be spared from going to bound item hell.
