I hope Mr Ford is looking north of Steeles Ave where YRT/VIVA drivers are on strike. And guess what, the drivers are contracted out to 3 major companies. So to say that contracting out garbage collection will prevent strikes, its just plainly false.

think of what he said, blaming union workers for the whole garbage crisis then proclaiming that his city will be one without strikes, what does this mean? its an attack against the working ppl and the rights unions bled for. It ignores the reality that workers only strike when prompted by extreme desperation moreover by saying no more strikes ford is saying he is waging a war against the public sector and is threatening their jobs.
